Was he responsible for both J.Jones' and Ike's injuries? WTF?

he's doing his best DeCastro impersonation

Leastways he hit someone this week. Butler needs to teach him his colors for next game.

I think it was Ike and Shazier, but the Shazier injury wasn't really his fault. He was tackling and an OL tried to peel him off. He fell backwards into his knee.

You can't blame him for either. Neither incident came close to how Pouncey got injured. Shazier was rolled into by a pile of players and Ike got hurt when Timmons came over to finish the tackle that Ike could not. To blame him is beyond lame.

What the ****? Its football!!! Do you think Timmons intentionally went out there and tried to injure his team mates? I don't think that is what your intentions were, but none the less, You slammin him. Play hard and fast, **** happens. If Timmons wasn't there, you or someone, would be claiming he was to slow / missed his assignment / doesn't know his responsibilities/ you get the drift. Its a bad thing it happens, but it does happen. Lawrence Timmons is probably at both those guys bed sides. I'm sure he feels bad about it, (his fault or not).

Salute the nation

Jarvis Jones said it himself. Injuries "are the cost of winning" sometimes. It's football and freak accidents happen. Look at the Detroit DL (Tulloch) who blew out his ACL doing the "discount double check" after sacking Rodgers. **** happens and the team has to be ready to deal with it. There's no blame on Timmons for freak accidents.

I blame him for Ikes. He came in as the guy was going down and stupidly hit Ike

Not saying he intentionally hurt Ike, just saying he had no business driving into the two of them...

Than Timmons should have hit the runner...

Not arguing, just saying...

As pointed out already, it was Shazier and Ike

I think it was Ike and Shazier, but the Shazier injury wasn't really his fault. He was tackling and an OL tried to peel him off. He fell backwards into his knee.

Bingo, the OL came in late and pushed Timmons off and he rolled into Shazier. Not Timmons fault at all.

Ike was having trouble finishing the tackle. I'm not convinced he was going to finish it.

Exactly, and he is doing exactly what you want your players to do, swarm to the ball and make sure there aren't missed tackles. It was unfortunate, and you could see how bad he felt afterwards. Keisel was there telling him to shake it off, it wasn't his fault.

On a different note, since this is about Timmons, it was his best game of the year. I think he told himself to slow down some, he wasn't over running plays, was squaring up and making tackles. Adjustments were made, and positive things happened.

So Timmons was supposed to just stand there and watch as a panther breaks Ike's tackle? Riggght . . .then all y'all Timmons haters would be bitching about him not making a play. This is BEYOND ridiculous!

He did. If you watch the play you'll see the Panthers guy hit the deck quickly when Timmons came in and hit him. Unfortunately he got Ike's arm as well. It's football.

yeah, I know...I watched the game and the play...can't a guy have some fun?....

Hitting the runner low would have been better than hitting Ike's arm, it is not so big the runner was hiding behind it.

Give Timmons a break. He's hustling on both plays.

Lol, Ike's arm was kinda wrapped around the runners body at the time because he was trying to tackle him. It's not like Timmons missed the runner by 3 feet and hit Ike's arm. He hit both of them pretty much dead on. Ike's arm was just in an awkward position at the time of the collision. As I said, it's football.

why not? per the Timmons Haters Club on this board, that's all he does anyway.
well, when not being stonewalled by 5'3" 90lb RBs or being so far out of the play his GPS chimes in to "recalculating" his closest route back to the stadium.

What Tulloch was doing wasn't football, it was FAIL.
