Well depth was needed so it is what it is.

Now to figure out the corner situation..............

I am thinking we had depth it was starting. Debo's back is likely healed now and he knows the defense. He is likely still as fast as the guys we have and still likely much stronger.

I'm thinking it won't be long before Peezy show up in uniform too!
But if Harrison is in shape, I like the move. Time to get that
"schwaag" on

I'd hate to be the first ****** he tackles when he puts on his true colors.

we play the Bucs and Jags in our next two games.
Just perfect for Deebo to knock the dust off.

Games that under Tomlin we usually lose....we are hitting a spot in our schedule where if we want to be contenders we need to win like 6 outta the next 8. Up until our Nov 17 bye week our schedule is pretty favorable. We have a brutal stretch of the Saints, @ Cincy and @ Atlanta near the end of the year. We need to quit playing to the level of our competition and win NOW!

GREAT signing.... anyone who thinks otherwise is a ******* moron. He knows the D and can contribute right away even if in a small capacity. He finishes with at least 6 sacks in limited action.

Great move by both the Steelers and James Harrison. He won't need much physically or mentally to be up to speed. As for possible fines from the Commissioner, so long as JH is not crazy, Roger will look the other way and you know why? Art Rooney II just publically supported Roger Goddell when he needed it most.

Back to the Steelers, Harrison adds that toughness and size in the middle and allows Jarvis Jones and Shazir time to heal.

He will certainly bring an attitude and swagger that can help mold these young guys like Jones & Shazier into the next great Steelers LB'ing corp.

I like the signing and you will be seeing Harrison playing with a chip on his shoulder....he has something to prove and he's going to deliver!

I've seen some pics that he posted, he's been working hard, seems to have lost weight and/or reshaped himself. I'm a fan of this move, it sure can't hurt for the interim.

If true, and healthy, I think its a good signing. Someone who knows the system, can be effective a few plays per game. Dick L. will need to plan Jame's situation into the game. James won't be much for pass coverage, just saying.

Salute the nation

IF they let him play, he will be our best OLB. He had 2 sacks, 1 INT, 1 PD and a fumble recovery in about HALF of the snaps that JJ had. On top of playing a 2 down "Will" LB spot.

.

I don't know how much Deebo has left as a pass rusher, but I bet he will still be a STUD against the run.

.

Good news for ******* Goodell. Now he can focus on something else:

Deebo will get fined for his retirement comments.

Just throwing this out there, since he couldn't be a force off the edge, why not let Moats be the starter at OLB and put Deebo inside next to Timmons? Aint no running up the ******* middle then.

Always loved Harrison and while he is certainly past his prime I believe he can still help this team.

You know he's gonna love wearing the Black & Gold once again.

If he gets a sack this week, the crowd will go nuts!!!

I love Deebo and the signing, but I saw a stat today saying we're the second most penalized team in the league. ****, this may put us up to number 1, and Deebo will be suspended for the first 4 games anyway for coming out of retirement and signing with the Steelers. Then he'll get at least 8 roughing the passer penalties a game, and all his game checks will go to fines.

I love it too, but Goodell will be looking for any lame excuse to fine him after his parting comments in his retirement speech.

Peezy can't survive a chest bump from Heyward. He's done. Keep to coaching JP!

I'm hoping when he unretires, he tells Roj, I'm unretiring. Time for you to retire! It's all about intimidation, baby!!

Do you guys think he will see the field this weekend if he signs tomorrow or the next day. We are traveling from a long ways to see the the game and that would make my year. Even one good play. Top ten favorite Steelers of all time. Hoped we might see him one more time in black and gold, but never thought it. And as much as I've bitched about JJ, I'm not happy that is the reason. He has actually made strides.

Lol well so much for the younger defense concept... anyhow he will be better vs the run than JJ is right now.

Kick *** Debo!

I'm sure the media will focus on his previous DV arrest.
