Whatever it takes to secure a win tomorrow hopefully without any more injuries. Secure the bye. Sit Bell week 17. Play the first quarter and a half. Tell Ben anyone breaks through take the intentional grounding if you need to. The Pats will wrap it up mid second quarter. Pull em all after that. Pouncey, Al , Haden, OLBs and anyone else you deem neccasary with a backup. Leave receivers in.

Get ready for the Browns 0-16 parade

The NFL will not want the Browns to go 0-16. I would not be surprised to see some calls go their way.

The starters should play next week for at least a half and maybe the entire game. I hate when teams rest that final week and have the bye week.. They always come out very slow in their 1st playoff game and many have lost recently when doing that.

That's funny but I'd rather see the 2017 Browns rather than every QB who has played for them since '99.

Not as much as I hare losing a key player in a game that means nothing.

Sit only injured players. This team isn't dominate enough to have the sit this player and that player. You get out of rhythm. No you approach the game to win and play hard. And keep playing hard until the end of the 4th quarter.

Steelers realistically keep every game semi close, so to think they will blow a team out by half time, might just be crack pipe smoking a unrealistic dream.

The Steelers wont blow anyone out. But tge Pats will and the game becomes meaningless. At that point im not losing a key player.
But wont put cart before the horse. All in today to get the W.

You play to win every game. Now that we still have something to play for, the starters should play until the game is in complete control. We play at the same time as the Cheats so nothing will be settled.

If our foot was kept on the throttle and the other on the neck,....... We would blow out most teams but alas we have that conservative BS play calling bubble screen **** waste. So play hard and maybe third quarter oe so start subbing.........and still win.

I'd be reluctant to play Bell and Ben for more than a quarter or even a half. NE will crush the Jets and rest their starters in the second half. The Steelers should do the same in the 4th against the Stains. Three weeks without game speed is a long time between games.

Normally I'd be Worried about a loss here. After all it's what Tomlin is known for. It would be our luck that jets pull the win and we lose to Cleveland. However not this time I just can't see anyway possible that the browns can beat us at home.
Yes I know I just gave us the kiss of death but there's just no way we lose this one.

And I've been reading this board for well over 10 years so FNG that ****

10 years.....................WoW, What does FNG stand for????

Ahem...see the score last night???

Agreed - but if the *'s are way out in front of the J.E.T.S - makes no sense in risking an injury to a key player; but, playing to win the game is the first option...

It's tough, I mean technically you have a shot at home field, but NE isn't losing at home to the Jets.
Yes having guys sit that long may make them rusty, but I'd rather have Ben, Bell, and everyone else healthy and work through a little rust than watching in sweats on the sidelines because they got hurt in what's going to end up being a meaningless game
