Wow.

The cheater lurkers are undoubtedly loving this. And can you blame them.

Spike has gone PTSD on us, largely because I vented my frustration on him, twisted one of his posts and fueled his pain and rage. That was weak and beneath me.

Antdrew has always been critical of Ben, but in fairness - Ben gives you some bad with the good. If we can't objectively look at the things he does that cause us frustration then we aren't being very fair. I am admittedly a pretty huge Ben fan. I tend to give more leeway than I probably should. That does NOT mean I agree with Antdrew whole-heartedly. But I accept he has fair points that he can reasonably argue.

I'm venting my irritation on THESE TWO guys, which admittedly isn't fair. I've taken some cheap shots in order to vent my pain that ultimately only serve to hurt them. That doesn't do any of us any good.

At the end of the day, it's a stupid ******* game. The players made some **** plays. The refs ****** some **** up. The coaches ****** up at a critical time.

Everybody lost. In Tomlin speak. They blinked.

So. Do they rebound or do they spiral like the Chefs did a few weeks ago?

For my part, I'm sorry I goaded Spike and Antdrew. I shouldn't have continued the arguments. You deserve more respect than that. I know you're both hurting.

I edited this post after I sent both fellows a PM. The original didn't truly convey my apologies. This is more a more truthful and straightforward accounting of my part in this argument ****-show.

It would be nice if they would get pissed and blow every team out by 40 points from here on out, but that's what the Patriots would do.....just like they did after Spy Gate came out. We won't or can't do it.....but I sure as hell wish we would.

And i read the rest of your post... cool wig im going to let it go too.. cause thats all we really doing is taking it out on each other..
 
I edited the original Antdrew. My first draft was still a bit chickenshit. I'll own that.

We all were fired up. That;'s what happens when another team gets in your head. I felt the players responded with poise after the Pats retook the lead. Now the question is how do they respond losing AB and the top seed? Do they come out pissed off and beat up on Houston or do they struggle to piece together drives.

We get Gilbert back this week. Haden should be on the field. The team will be improved minus losing AB. We need the receivers to ball out and make up for AB being out. That will mean lots of 26 on the field.

They both wrote me back and said they too were frustrated and we were all sniping at each other. Everyone apologized.

Hell if the three of us can work it out and move on, I'm hoping the Steelers can too! This loss just really hurt and we needed a day to tear the **** out of something. Sadly we were the closest thing to tear up.
 
We are all pissed about this crap, but good to see cooler heads prevail. We're all on the same team here. This could actually end up being a rallying point for the squad.
