I wonder if he too is tired of watching his defense.

Crossing my fingers. It will take a team effort, but it always does. Any upgrades increase your chance at success if you execute

Man coverage all day... even if they give up a long td or three its better than paper cut passes vs the zone

As soon as Miami went zone Brady went to town on them. I would also put Watt on Gronk at times, and on crucial downs make it look Watt is on him, but disguise a safety coming over and have him cover while Watt blitzes. The Dolphins were using similiar tactics and had Brady completely lost as to what to do.

On a side note - for next season - seems like the Steelers like taking on CB reclamation projects...

Eli Apple - DB - Giants

Giants interim coach Steve Spagnuolo said he "was disappointed" by CB Eli Apple tweeting during the Week 14 loss to the Cowboys.

Apple was inactive for the fourth-straight game. He responded to a tweet asking why he was not playing with, "I'm too healthy," and retweeted a message praising Cowboys RB Rod Smith's 81-yard touchdown. "I had a conversation with Eli about that," Spagnuolo said. "I told him I was disappointed. We'll decide exactly what we do with it. He apologized. We move on from that." ESPN's Jordan Raanan has reported Apple is "disliked within the organization," and this incident is unlikely to help. It is possible the Giants look to move on during the offseason.

I wouldn't mind giving Watt a chance on Gronk. Gronk is slow as ****. Dude runs a 4.8 if he's lucky.

We know he is returning to practice, we just don't know to what extent. If he isn't a full participant, then they shouldn't even think of playing him this week.

As a big Ohio State fan, I'm pretty familiar with Eli Apple. He sucks! I never understood why he was so overrated.

I have no problem playing him if he gets Thursday and Friday full practice in.

Perhaps even Friday. Only from a health standpoint.

From a rusty standpoint he is a better option than what we have been seeing..................
