Last few games he has taken off more than normal (normal being zero). Even looked like a called run for him in the Bengals game.
I'm thinking he is feeling healthier than most years and wants to give defenses something to think about. I think it bodes well for him
returning another season or two.

I'm okay with Ben running to either pick up a first down, or gain yardage then sliding.

Gives the defense something else to worry about.

Just don't expect to see many waggles or naked boots.

Kind of funny to see him running because he used to do this a lot before the motorcycle wreck. If he needs to break the pocket to pick up some yards or a first down, go for it. He's been smart about sliding so he doesn't take a big hit. We need to win ball games and by any means necessary.

I’d imagine Ben looks like Herman Munster when he runs.

Honestly, I feel he thinks this might be his last year and even if not knows this could very well be his last best shot at another super bowl. Leave it out on the field mentality.

THIS ^^^^^ I think he feels the urgency of the Super Bowl and this is a VERY realistic shot at winning it. He will do everything in his power to achieve it, isn't that what GREAT QBs do??? Why question his desire as he is playing well when it counts.
So far his run ability has gotten the job done regardless of what some here may think, "old man" "runs like Munster" "hasn't done it since motorbike wreck". I'll take what he's giving as he is a winner all the way through.

Salute the nation

I can't wait till Landry ******* Jones takes over this team and all you ******* start sucking his ****

I'd rather Ben run for a 1st down or a TD if given enough time & distance rather than try to squeeze a hastily thrown ball into triple coverage for crissakes!

When all coverage is down field and he escapes the pocket, running for 5-10 (first down) is wide open.

U know I pretty much avoid live game threads now, I miss the good old days when people would totally lose their minds and say dunb embarrassing **** then have to swallow their words 2 pages later....that still happening?
