Won't hurt them as he was already not playing due to injury. They should have the suspension be activated next year for the first four games as a result. They won't, but hat I would have done.

Nope. He dropped his appeal and will start serving his suspension. Won't be placed on IR

Since Jimmy was suspended, he doesn't have to be IRed. Suspended players do not count against the active roster limit. This is a situation where the injury actually helps the Ravens personnel wise. In 4 weeks, if the Ravens make the playoffs, Jimmy will be IRed.
