Oh heck yes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't be happier with the Watt draft...............unless he pulverized the cheater QB........8sacks in one game for all time single game sack record and ROOKIE of the year.

thanks for the post slash!

Ahh bell. I recall the game he went balls deep on special teams and knocked himself and the other guy out.

Watt's all-around game has been impressive. He's solid in coverage and makes plays against the run. His pass rush is a work in progress, but there is solid production for being a rookie.

What's amazing about Bell's record is that he was a ILB and tallied all those sacks.

And truthfully Watt isnt playing their traditional 34 olb. He is dropping into coverage a hell of a lot. Debo isnt getting a hat because these guys can cover.

And he's good in coverage.

I wonder how fat Woodley must be now

Probably living comfortably with the money he still got paid after we cut him........ he never wanted to be great but wanted to get paid..... just saying, probably not a bad life for a person unless he blew his cash.

70% of NFL players have little or no net worth after they retire. Which is why I think the Union should take 5% of their pay and turn it into an annuity for life.

He is on a car show, pimping rides for fans.

Debo should be taking Bud's snaps.

I've been thinking that too - we only need one guy running and gunning - we have to have someone hold the edge - I can't count the number of times Bud just goes completely off the screen past the play, leaving the other guys scrambling to cover his area - put Harrison on the left side of the D line and TJ can do his thing.

This whole defense is always trying make splash plays while leaving gaping holes all over. No wonder the Brett Hundley's of the world continue to rape them

Sacks became an official data in 1982, I think. My guess is some Steeler prior to 1982 had 4 sacks or more in his rookie season. Perhaps Joe Greene?

I agree. I think Bud is one of the weak links on the defense.
At this point, his upside looks to be a Clark Haggans type of player. Solid at best, will never dominate and make costly mistakes from time to time.

I actually think it would make more sense to have Watt switch sides (since he has played both sides during games), and leave Harrison in his normal ROLB spot. That should be our playoff D.

If memory serves me correct,.........the DC gave Bell a lot of room to just PLAY. Free lance...
I loved watching him BLOW up plays even as short lived as it was

Our OLBs have always had coverage rates that hovered right around 34%. That's why Harrison always having just under the league lead while contributing in so many other ways forever puts him ahead of guys like Demarcus Ware who were glorified 4-3 DEs that dropped back 4 times a year.

Very salient point

You can bag on Woodley if you like but Kurt Warner and his desperation say "Hello".
