AB should be in MVP consideration

So basically its been qbs and running backs. LT, Alan Page and a kicker in a strike year. Rice the greatest wide reciever ever and widely considered greatest player ever won associated player of year. What exactly would AB have to do?

A Packers fan behind me was so confident he only had one foot down on the sideline catch. I just laughed...they apparently never watch AB at work.

No player since the 60s has been in the top 2 in catches / yards for 5 consecutive years until Brown.

Dude's amazing. Just amazing. 1st ballot without even thinking about it.

Here's a fun game...

Randy Moss in his "prime"

OR

Antonio Brown?

Oooooh.... I can see the gears turning.

I take Brown without a 2nd thought. Brown doesn't give up on the team if things aren't going his way. And honestly, I'm not sure Moss even had the numbers Brown has had.

Brown would need to break both the TD receptions record and season receiving yards along with a few punt return TDS to be in consideration for MVP. Mostly have a couple 200 plus yard games in the first half of the season for the hype train by national media to begin.

Actually, Brown is in the MVP talk. Unfortunately, he's behind Wentz, Brady, Goff, and in some people's twisted world, Wilson. There was an article on espn about it.

******** from the Cheatriots said after the Julio performance that he is easily the best WR in the game. I laughed. Julio has done nothing all year. He has one monster game and is now the best. No ******* way. All that one game did was put him back in the top 5 conversation for the year but AB is easily the best WR in the NFL right now. He has over 1,000 yards for the 5th straight year and is closing in on 100 catches for the 5th straight year. No other WR in NFL history has done that. He gets that done and he is already a lock for the HOF.

One thing I love about instant replay, is it shows you how ******* good AB is. Seriously, I think he had 6 reviews this season, and only one was called not a catch. That's a sick ratio. You can't see what he is doing with his body/hand/feet positioning, unless you slow it down frame by frame. He's the best receiver I've ever seen in this respect. Up there with Rice. Rice is AB's only peer stats wise at this point in his career, he's ahead of most other first ballot HOFers.

It's his 8th season, 7th as a starter, and he's on pace to break 10k yards this year. He only needs 428 yards to do so. So as long as he's healthy, and the Steelers don't rest him, he has a shot at it. That is ******* incredible!

Brown is 701 yards behind Jerry Rice's pace through 8 seasons. I don't think he'll pass him this year, but he's within striking distance. And he's way beyond him in receptions 1070 to 610. TDs are all Rice though. 108 (inc. 5 rushing TDs) to 84 (inc. 5 return TDs)

500 yards to 10 000 and 20 more catches to 100 5 straight. Kid is going to the HOF unless something bad happens. May already be there.

6th rd draft pick. every team in the league passed on him multiple times. He is amazing to watch. I think even if he were on another team, I would still like to watch him

bite yer tongue, never that !

I know probably doesn't sound like a lot. but typically I could care less about other teams and non Steeler players. Brown is just amazing to watch. not only in games, but if you go to training camp, and watch him after practice, catch balls when every other wide receiver is gone,,, just amazing to watch.

AB might not get the award, but **** the dude is straight bad ***. I've never seen a guy as reliable as he is. Work ethic is just off the charts.

He could have had another long TD yesterday, but Ben didn't see him open

That man takes playing wide receiver to a high form of art. Nobody plays like that without working your *** off. He's money in the bank and a joy to watch

Not only is he a great receiver, but he has to put up with nonsense like this - cheap shot by Ahmad Brooks Sunday night:

I don't know if it was a cheap shot, as much as it was a big dumb defender running as fast as he can to try and make a play, and ended up getting stopped by AB looking the other way.
