OFFICIAL PREDICTION THREAD - Game 3 - Steelers vs. Panthers

I have this one as an L since the schedule came out. (so far im right on track) They will run all over us, and our line will struggle to open holes and protect the QB . . .again!

I love the way the steelers match up vs Carolina. The steelers struggle against zone run schemes and that's what Clev and Balt both do. Carolina does not. They are a power team and the steelers are much better vs that type of team. Cam Thomas may even be useful with his bulk vs Carolina.

carolina has no deep threats. Cotchery and Avant are possession guys. Kelvin Benjamin has looked great but he's no speedster either.

Losing Greg Hardy is a big blow for them. Ben should have enough time to throw and he will have to throw a lot. I don't think the steelers will run much against Carolina. If Ben gets time to throw, he can have success against the Carolina secondary.

Sorry to say I think the Steelers lose. I can't recall the last time I predicted a Steelers loss. There are so many flaws it's hard to say whether it will be failed offense, defense or both, can't even begin to predict the score. I just hope I have a reason to stay awake past halftime.

I really hope I'm wrong and that I have to read a million "I told you sos" tomorrow.

Defensive new guys/youngsters have had 9 days to bust vets azzes about how they are supposed to KNOW the defense yet are out of position just as often as the new guys/vets.

Haley has had 9 days to get his head out of his butt and determine that letting Ben run no huddle/Shotgun is best for Ben, the team and his J.O.B.
