This behind the QB camera angle SUCKS!!!

If I can choose my own porn angles, football shouldn't be far behind.

I'm a fan, and I prefer watching this angle at games. You can't tell how far a player has gone, because you've never watched a game from that angle. You'll get better at it.

Also I don't know what you're talking about Indy, I can see receivers downfield much better with the QB angle than the sideways, lets pan 30 yards downfield, and try to find the play, side angle.

One other benefit from the rear angle? You can't fool the camera man on pump fakes...

I'm looking at the box and safeties and thinking to myself where I'd go when the ball is snapped. Theres more appreciation for the trenches too. Seeing their footwork and techniques is something I enjoy seeing. I would watch it at this angle if it were an option. The conventional is good too, but makes the field look bigger than it is. Vince McMahon already had it in the XFL.

Big fan of the trenches.
To me that's where the battles are won. Those big dudes can move. I enjoyed the sky cam for that alone.
Having played at the safety position back in high school. I also enjoyed seeing the coverages by them.

I agree, it is horrid. You can't see the whole field. Irritating as hell. It was hard to watch. I am not a hard person to please either..

Once in a while - during replays especially - fine.

But as the bread-and-butter camera angle, not so much.

I know the Switch!

So does he!!

Uhh, she ... whatever.

You can't see the outside wr until they got 10 yards downfield, and you can't see the DBs covering them. I'm watching college ball and like the traditional view better. I don't hate the sky cam, but I can see all 22 guys with the traditional view, can see 20 yards past the LOS, so unless the safeties are deeper than that I can see everything.

It's hard to watch.

Echoing what others have said, it's much more difficult to see the yardage gained, and despite the players' backs being directly to the camera, it's much harder to determine who the players are until after the play.

They need to at least let the audience choose the angles.

I’m waiting for the D cam. Just like sky cam except from the opposite side of the ball

That view was as bad as the experiment on MNF awhile back where they broadcasted the game without announcers, it was dreadful and so is this QB's point of view broadcast.

Papillon

I loved the view. You could see what the qb sees. Although it would be cool if you could pick from a few camera angles to view the game.

I did not like it. I thought the camera was too shaky it made me dizzy to watch. Also, I thought they switched back and forth too much between camera angles during the game and it was way too much switching of camera angles for me. So the combo of the shakiness of the camera and them switching too much was a problem for me. I found myself happier when they switched back to the side view. I might like it better if it was slightly lower and more steady. it would require a stationary cameraman though. the hanging camera is not steady. that's what makes it bad for me.
