Well we finally saw the offense we expected to see at the start of the seasons. Ben has some great weapons out there on the field including Martavius Bryant who continues to improve on the field after his suspoension. Steelers really were up against a tough Titans Defense coached by Papa....Dick LeBeau. Four turnovers also helped the Steelers overcome any short comings. It wasn't a perfect performance by any stretch of the imagination....gave up a few splash plays as Coach T likes to say. I'm not so sure Sensebaugh is a viable backup in our secondary....he got toasted pretty bad a few times. I think a game like this will silence alot of critics who think Ben is on the downside of his career. Versus this secondary he really played great! Titans are no joke and we could very well see them in the playoffs come January. This was a big win for our Steelers. Now they get 10 days rest til the final push through the last six games and to the playoffs! I'm a little worried about or two starting OLB's.....if we have any weakness on Defense that is where I see it! OLB's need to do a better job of getting pressure on the QB. It's their job!

Game Balls:
Ben Roethlisberger - If you don't feel confident in his ability after a game like this where he proved without a doubt he's in it to win it 100%. 4 TD's 299 yds.....Great job Big Ben
Antonio Brown - Week in, week out I watch this guy make catches that no normal human being can do. He's incredible.....great performance 3 TD's 144 yds
Mike Hilton - Great play on Defense....love how he's always around the ball and he's a good open field tackler too
Vince Williams - Solid all game on the inside....his play has improved alot since the beginning of the season

Game Goats:
TJ Watt - I don't know where he goes from here but seeing him in the last two games and tonight only have one tackle....I think he's hit a bit of a rookie wall. Tomlin better get Deebo fired up and ready for the final push because Chickillo isn't any better!
Bud Durpree - For as good as he was Sunday he was almost invisible tonight....one tackle and very little pressure from his OLB position is not going to get it done down the stretch

FU's:
to the naysayers who don't like Coach T this is the best start for a Tomlin coached Steelers team....8-2 through 10 games!

I'm really pleased with how Williams has played. I thought his ceiling was lower.

Watt has been dropping back into coverage a ton.

Watt has been dropping back into coverage a ton.

21 rushing plays and 5 sacks. 26 plays for an OLB and he gets 1 tackle.

vs Chiefs James Harrison had 4 tackles and a sack in 10 plays from scrimmage. That's more productive than TJ Watt's last two games!

Lol.....Comical.

game balls to the 2nd d backs, Hilton sensabaugh, golden.. nice job.

Goat to Bud Dupree, He looks lost. Javis didn't look this bad.

Foster isn't very good.

Kudos to Bell for his pass blocking

Ben looked better than he has all season.

Oh yeah.. I'm liking some Walton in there. Guy is tough.

TJ Watt played very well tonight again. I don't know what game you watched.

I don't think it was his best game but he didn't play that bad. He played against a monster LT this game and he was solid in coverage. All I saw was that he doesn't always get enough depth on some of those 'zone unde'r coverage's

Now Durpee, that's a bit different. That dude runs himself 20 yards past the play.

I was sad for MB as he missed a couple opportunities, got a BS offensive interference call when the DB was pushing him more than he was pushing off and overall was just having a rough night.

And then, just when AB forgets that the ball ISN'T a loaf of bread, who's there to do the work, hustle down field and cover up the fumble?

MB. He got that pivotal FG right there with that hustle. Oh yes he did.

FU to the refs for taking away the TD from Bell and for the roughing on Tuitt. BS on both calls.

VEIWERSHIP Had that game gotten blown up early, you'd had a VERY low "viewership" load. Gotta keep em close when yaz can.

Salute the nation

Props to Ben for bringing the offense out of the pit of misery.. dilly dilly!

Props to Martavis for also slowly climbing out of the pit of misery. He had a rough start to this game, but showed hustle recovering that fumble and showed some life in the second half. I’m expecting him to be close to his usual level by the playoffs

AB of course being AB

Goats:
The OLBs are my goats as well. Props to Watt for the blocked FG but he has been very quiet. Bud is doing nothing. We need these guys to be better.

Also the DBs played well in general, but there were a few coverage breakdowns. Two games in a row we’ve given up some HUGE pass plays. But we’ve been asking for more aggressive coverage on the outside

F U:
Todd Haley. My goodness this offense looked pathetic when he was slowing it down and every pass was flung toward the sideline when the middle was open. Of course when we sped up the tempo, we looked unstoppable. Seemed to me like Ben had a lot more freedom in those possessions. Haley is a liability to this team right now

First good all around game in all 3 phases for the Steelers. This is what they need to do the rest of the year. No huddle has to be the main O, even on the road. All other good QB's can and do run the no huddle on the road. It's just a lazy ******* excuse coming from our coaches for not running it. The D had 2 key injuries coming in (Haden and Mitchell) and still performed well overall. Burns is still looking in the backfield and on multiple occasions, he just stood there and watched his man catch the ball before he made any move. Sensabaugh had the int but also got burned with no safety help on the one TD. Where were the safeties on that play?

Heyward and Tuitt are beasts. Hargrave needs to play all the time as I've said for two years now. 2 DL doesn't work. Watt was dropping into coverage a ton and did pretty well. Bud was OK. Our big uglies are the ones getting the push and the sacks. Put all three in the damn game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had 5 drives last night for 4 TD's and 1 FG. All 5 were no huddle. If Haley switches back, he must be fired! There's just NO EXCUSE anymore not to give Ben the keys to his Ferrari. The attempts at drives without the no huddle were 3 and out or maybe 1 first down. They went nowhere.

Most of the first half and the Titan's TD drive in the second half was forgettable but then the entire team caught fire and was 24 - 3 the rest of the game. Finally a nearly complete game for the entire team.

Watt is a rookie and is still learning, but he's so athletic and rangy he is dropped into coverage a ton, Harrison can't do that still would rather see Harrison in over Moats or Chick(chick did get hurt, not sure how bad). Did Dupree get a sack? He was so so, he did set the edge a couple times very well, lost containment on one decent run. I'm so glad they didn't sign Hightower and stuck with Williams.
OLine needs to get better, our run game was pretty bad, and Ben was under pressure alot up until the 4th.
Nitpicking I guess, great all around team effort against a 6-3 team, hell yes!!!

Game balls, obviously Brown, and Ben and Bryant still got a little bit of magic. Despite the huge win i get the feeling they still aren't at 100% of their potential on offense, and that should scare the **** out of the rest of the league.
Goats
James Conner is just another guy. Jonathan Dwyer 2.0. I've seen enough. Decent acceleration, No shiftiness, bad vision, no power despite his size. I hope he saves his money and got a useful degree.

For some reason no one mentions Burns I guess because he does little in the game but want to pump his fists and push people after the play. He made one good play and gave up to many plays. Watt was solid he made a great play on tipping the ball on a wide open receiver and he still pushes the line allowing others to make a play. Watt shows much more than a first rounder last year. Haley deserves a game ball for the game plan used, we used passing as runs we were much better in red zone and we all saw some plays called that worked.

Props to Ben. He's a veteran future HOF QB and showed why. He took control of the offense, called a fantastic no huddle, inspired and led his team to success.
FU's: Haley, now we know why the Steelers offense has been faltering for the last few years!

I saw a lot of high effort from martavis yesterday and that's all I'm asking from him right now because he has the talent and the plays will come soon if he keeps the high motor.

He also fought a long pass that went a bit short in the end zone against double coverage and saved the interception from happening.

I liked MB last night.

That pass in the end zone is a flat out drop, they didn't show the replay, but had it on dvr, if the clip is anywhere, the DB made no play on the ball, he just dropped it.
I do like the way he competed and stayed in the game, but this isn't highschool, he can't drop TDs, and have a few drops every week, not if he wants to be a big time wr.

I've mentioned Burns many times. He has been getting beat bad on a weekly basis for 4 or 5 weeks in a row now. He is NOT learning from his mistakes and keeps looking into the backfield and biting on double moves. He needs to learn from these mistakes or he won't be around in a couple years. It is only his 2nd year so he is still learning but this **** can't keep happening this year and definitely not in years to come.

Byrant had a decent game. He's trying but he still is nowhere near where he was before his suspension. He got the fumble and had a catch or two. He also dropped a TD in the endzone. Sure, it was an above average catch in the difficulty department but he is supposed to be big and strong and able to make those catches. That's why he is on the team. He still has not made a contested catch or caught a long ball from Ben. Until he starts doing that, he will continue to split time with Eli as the No. 3 WR like he did last night. JuJu is the clear No. 2 WR moving forward. Then again, we have dumbass Haley as the OC and he may see things different.

I agree with you on Burns. He's got some growing up to do, and he better start doing so pretty damn fast. He's also gonna cost the team with he suplexes players every time he wraps up. He even follows through if the play is whistled dead, or if the player he has isn't even involved in the play. He needs to stop with all that ****.
