At first glance, this move might shock some people as the Bills are 5-4 and currently have the #6 seed in the AFC for the playoffs.

Head Coach Sean McDermott has decided to start a rookie QB. I really liked Peterman in rounds 3-4 for the 2017 draft. We had a shot at him but passed, so it will be interesting to see how he does.

On the radio, Steve Tasker explained why the move was made. Buffalo's offense had too many 3 and outs, and too few big plays. The 3 and outs were gassing the defense and the lack of big plays meant they were losing the battle of field possession.

Teams would put a spy on Taylor, and rush. He isn't good at reading a defense, nor was he good passer in the pocket. More often than not he was chased into throwing it out of bounds or took too many sacks. A high percentage of his passes completed were the check down variety which ended up in very few yards passing and a very low yards per passing attempt. The extra traffic and plays close to the line of scrimmage did not make it easier for McCoy to run it as he's a speed guy who does best when the defense is spread out.

Essentially Defensive coordinators figured Taylor out.

While Peterman might not do any better, you have to tip your hat to their coach for realizing with Taylor playing QB, you've got the 30th ranked passing offense.

I'll bite; just so we can get it out of the way. Which Steelers player (if any) are you intimating should get the "Tyrod Treatment"?

stupid ******* move made by the FO. Another let’s hand it in already and hand it to NE again division.

I dont think Buf is that great, but I also do not believe Tyrod was the main problem. They got rid of their best receiver and substituted him with Benjamin who is good, but will need time to adjust. Peterman looked ok in preseason and his limited playing time, but starting a regular season game is a bit different.

ark and i saw tie-rod in the shrine game in orlando.
dude hasn't progressed and become better since.

neither has tie-rod.

NO, NO, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We do not want Tyrod on our team other than as a 2nd/3rd stringer. So, no one even bring it up.

wasn't he called to be the next Coca-Cola at the start of the season?

A lot of coaches have a hard time replacing / benching underperforming players weather it be draft position / money or just a favorite. Our coach Es have fallen into this cinerio in the past. Hats off to the Buffalo coach for at least tying something to change up his team's "TREND".
