Aloualu is a good player. Keep rotating. Fresh pass rush. All three of him Tuitt and Heyward are capable of bullrushing the OL into qb.

Yes he is. A solid pick up at the right price. Kudos to Colbert. Why Hargrave doesn't play more is a coaching issue. It could be because he's an interior DL only.

During the Dallas game on Sunday, Romo was commenting how Dallas only had 3 linemen (he called them "big guys") in the game at one point and couldn't stop the run on a 3rd down. I started laughing. We would have 2 "big guys" in trying to stop the run.

We actually have tried that a couple times on goal line situations early this year, I think that's how Browns ran one in, the other I think was the bears game. I remember seeing the replay and was floored seeing only 2DL on a goal line play

I don't get the 2DL set. Really it's like daring the QB to beat us with a pass rush that doesn't get any pressure thus the ALL DAY effect.

That and you send 2DL and a LB, that's our 3 man rush, well simple math, there are 5 OLinmen, so if the offense leaves a TE or RB in to block, our 3 pass rushers are now all double teamed.

I totally get what you are saying but it's the coaching decision to go with the 2DL set and that right there is the problem. Our guys are as tough as any but if not put in a position to win the individual battles,....... then the team suffers. So the simple math is why do the coaches continually call this type of set even though it yields less than favorable results...........???

I have no clue why we do it against NE, everyone knows Brady hates pressure as do most QBs, but the best way to stop him is to pressure him, we aren't and we didn't, pressuring him with that. The one guy that did get to him was Hargrave, so put all 3 of them on the damn field then

that's not a 3-3-5, that's a 4-3-4, how can Tuitt be an OLB? also you are leaving Shazier taking a WR straight ahead
