Can These TD celebrations get any more lame?

I think it Would provide an idea of the maturity level of professional athletes. I'm guessing she is elementary school age.

I wonder what Jack Lambert would have done if someone celebrated with a sack race after a TD against the Steelers.

This NFL is different from that one.

Our excitement was from watching the Steelers beat the **** out of other teams. Either with wins or by their physicality.

In the era of now- the present -the National Flag and penalty League. I can live with it deal with it.

As we all ultimately must as it isn't going away any time soon.

If they are celebrating after the Steelers manage score a red zone TD, I'm all for it.

**** I am telling you, with this 20 point O, I am celebrating when I finally see one too.

I don't lose sleep, over it. I just find myself shaking my head. As I said in the protest thread, today's NFL players offer me the opportunity to enjoy fantasy sports with my friends. Otherwise 98% of them could meet their demise and I couldn't care less.

I like celebrations as much as the next guy, but hide and seek, bench pressing, etc. are stupid and a bit embarrassing (to be honest). The thing with these guys, young 20 somethings, is how far do you let it go? I'd prefer they study film instead of the upcoming opponent instead of meeting to choreograph a TD celebration. When they bring out the Monopoly board you know you've gone too far.

I am not having it.

Probably hold out or ask to be traded

It's not going to keep me from watching and I love the raw emotion celebrations, but the **** that's made up leading up to the week I'm not a fan of, but like I said it won't keep me from watching.

...and how old is she?
She is just ten, never likes to watch the games with me, well any sport for that matter.
I rather they celebrate TDs (better if they celebrate together) which is a quite difficult accomplishment, its not like a 1st down ( that's stupid to celebrate) or a tackle. They deserve it, even more if he is a team player and a decent person out of the field

Yeah, my sentiments exactly. It won't keep me from watching, but that doesn't make the "routines" any less juvenile. Not what you'd expect from 20 something and 30 something year old grown men.

Look around the US and the youth of this Nation.

I see nothing outside the game that makes me think it will be any different within the game.

But I look at it also two fold.

Juju is producing and learning. So if his immaturity is only from TD celebrations, and nothing else. I will take it.

Now when Bryant scores he might want to take out a magnifying glass and examine the end zone.

Oh yeah this is what it looks like.

Little kids emulate their sports heroes. I won't be surprised when pee-wee/city league fields have to deal with snot-nosed 10 year-olds doing these same celebrations. One more nail in the sportsmanship coffin.

Could be worse those little snot nose kids could be running the streets doing things that would bring them death or imprisonment.

Don’t these guys feel stupid after a loss? Hoping their celebration doesn’t make the highlights?

The celebrations don't bother me. If you notice almost all of them this year incorporate several teammates as opposed to one guy showing off by himself. I'm liking the group choreographed stuff honestly. Reminds me of football when I was a kid in the 80's. They did that stuff all the time.

This. In the past, it was all "me me me" bs; Chad Johnson and his "future HOF'er" coat and his million other lame-dick gags, Joe Horn pulling out the cell phone, etc. Many may not like them period, but I like how the whole team is becoming involved because it takes the whole team to be in that position in the first place. There's a whole lot that goes into having a successful scoring drive, and guys should be able to enjoy it a little bit. Now, if a team is down 42-0, and then gets their first td of the day, and then decides to play hide n seek, then I think it may be a bit of an issue.

I enjoy the touchdown celebrations more than signaling a first down or a defender jawing after making a stop 15 yards down field. Some of the choreographed stuff is dumb, but then you get some good ones as well. Anything that focuses on the players having fun while playing is good in my book, though I am a fan of the classic spike. When the ball was passed off to Ramon Foster last year and he broke the camera...that was good stuff. Also, when are kickers going to get involved in celebrating? Would love to see Boswell get hyped after making a 20-yard field goal.

Glad they can choreograph a full playbook of celebrations for their infrequent red zone successes, but don't have a freaking clue who is supposed to be on the field and how to execute a 2-pt conversion?!?!

Absolutely hate them, so childish.
As much as I hate Marshon Lynch I love just the simple hand shake.
