Le’Veon Bell was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday. Bell was a force on Sunday in Kansas City amassing 179 yards rushing, and contributing 3 receptions. This is the third time in his career he has won the award, tying him with Jerome Bettis for the most I’m franchise history. Bell looks […]

Its a little surprising that he has only won it three times

But it is two awards in six weeks. Im starting to think it will be Ben retire, pay Bell and live with a serviceable qb or draft one and live with Jones for a season ala Tomczak.

He makes amazing games seem routine. Since he rarely rips off anything longer than 20yds, it is actually more impressive with what he's doing to make each and every play a positive play. I think AP or LT, and I'm thinking of long runs for 50+ yards. Bell makes it seem easy, and understated. What a treasure.

He is going to make it a hard decision this off season. His three or four warm up games this year are just bonus yards in comparison to last year as you Remeber he started season under a three game suspension which equated to ZERO yards.

I get similar feelings as he just doesn't get the 20+ yard plays. If he does it's an anomaly. But it's the consistant +/positive yards that add up. Jerome Bettis was GREAT AT ALWAYS falling forward for positive finish yard after tackle and BELL has this trait too, it helps at the end of the day. We are going to have a tough decision to make but I'm trusting the FO on this one. Ben will be gone thus freeing up a ton of cap and His eventual replacement will be on a rookie contract (low $$$). There is one catch though and that being if the viewership keeps plummeting as it has been then the TV contracts are going to pull portions of the big money creating less of a cap space........resulting in termination of the "HIGH" dollar contracts. Of course KRAFT will keep his money rolling into the NFL as that will help to guarantee he is always at the top with t*mmyb*y playing into his 70s with 25+ SB wins. **** I can't believe how wide spread the cheateriots cheating ways spread.............. AND it's not the kind of S-P-R-E-A-D one likes !!!!!!!

I would trade Bell tomorrow for the rights to draft Barkley.

Yeah, because PSU has such a good record of producing RBs... Curtis Enis, and Ki Jana Carter say hi

Gotta disagree completely with this logic. You gotta evaluate all players as individuals and how their skill sets translate. I mean, Larry Johnson was a pretty good RB.

Plus, Barkley plays in an entirely different offense, under entirely different coaches, with entirely different training regimen and everything than those guys. They have little in common besides the uniform and the position. And even if Barkley was playing in the same offense with the same coaches, he is just a different player than they were. His skill set and mentality are essentially idiot proof for any NFL team. The only way he busts is injury, and any player could get injured.

Lydell Mitchell didn't turn out to be the best

Look, you were pooping on PSU RBs, so I just showed you they are not only capable of doing well in the league, but can even make the HOF. Not saying Barkley's a HOFer, but he's not Ki Janna Nada.

Mitchell also had a pretty good career. 3 Pro bowls. Not too bad for any RB.

Hey, I'm just saying I'll take Bell > Barkley. We know what we have. Pay the man.

Oh, go blue, **** psu
