The Steelers finished up their last day of padded practice heading into Sundays battle with Kansas City on Friday. I don't see foster out as such a bad thing.. I think he is a weak link. Could be wrong. Any way I like to see the #2 get snaps and see what he can do. Finney?

I dont like seeing any OL or DL on the injury report.

I hear ya. I just mean I think finny showed up in preseason, I would like to see what he can do wih first unit.

so lets see, V sucks, Foster sucks, Castro sucks, Hubbard sucks - no wonder they cant run the ball or protect Ben

yeah, since he's 2nd string for a reason.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe Finney filled in for Foster last year vs the chefs and had a helluva a game. I believe that PFF graded him as the highest o-lineman for that week. He played pretty well in spots the rest of the season. I'm OK with Finney in the line-up, I just think he hasn't been able to surpass Foster on the depth chart because Foster makes all the line calls. Until Finney gets that down, Foster's the man. As long as Hubbard is out of the line-up, I'm fine with that. Dude has been a total mess this year.

I think Hubbard plays ok here and there, but you can only mask his suck for so long. Now if the Steelers can get this O-line to step it up a notch, it may just have a domino effect.

With Gilbert back, Hubbard goes back to his strength, being the extra lineman on running plays. Foster being out isn't as tough on this team as Gilbert being out. Gilbert coming back just solidified 2 positions. We have interior linemen that can fill in for a week or 2, and give them some help.
