The offensive identity

Thank you for answering, I appreciate that. I was hoping for more specific concrete ways in which he does that. I guess I fail to see anything Tomlin does to put his team in a position to win football games. What I see is a coach that is either incapable or unwilling to make adjustments. I also see a coach that for years has demonstrated extremely poor clock management and challenge usage. Those are not the fault of the players. I see a coach who has replaced both coordinators, and still is having the same problems. I see these issues getting worse over the years, not better. I see a coach who in his press conferences has no problem calling out players (which I have no problem with) but does not accept responsibility himself.

I see a team that is consistently undisciplined, and lacking crispness. I agree 100% players are responsible for their individual execution, and I and many others are hold them responsible. But at some point, when the same issues keep coming up over and over and over, amongst the majority of the team, you have to start putting blame on the guy in charge. It's that way in virtually any industry. Tomlin is responsible for the team culture, and I don't see how anybody thinks this culture of accepting mediocrity and selfishness is okay. This team is WAY TOO talented to be this flat the majority of the time. THAT falls on the coach.

And i dont see how you can outright say that when plays show that there are plays to be made. Coaches can draw up the perfect play and it not work because of one person. Hubbard makes his block that is a potential game changing play. How do we not know that wasnt adjustment something seen from the sidelines. And one player one missed block ruined it.

Can you name a game we lost because of clock management?

for a person to try to think back on such a small subject, whats the odds someone could pull something out of their *** in memory?

everyone gets it , with you it is 100% players fault.

When Tomlin isn't resigned or fired later on, yinz can blame the players if it makes you feel better..............

Losing a game due to clock management is something most would remember

Yes because thats what i can see. There is no speculation on what i dont know. And again you continue to make it about Tomlin why? When i have always said i was the same under Cowher. Im the same at high school and Pop warner games. Immediately blaming coaching is a copout to me cause you or anyone cant possibly know what was taught

Nobody is immediately blaming coaching. We're blaming players too, and this has been the same issues for YEARS, that's not immediate. The issue is you seem to blame everybody BUT Tomlin, and refuse to put any responsibility on him at all, even though he's the guy in charge.

To be fair, I will answer your question, I cannot think of a game that was lost because of solely poor clock management, but there have been many times, including wasting timeouts this past game, that were at least a part of a loss (left points on the board at end of halves, not having timeouts available late when needed, etc). This past week was a good example. That is the opposite of putting your team in a position to win.

Why should i know when i never done it before????? Cause you want me too. I stated why i defend him. Because all the ones who do blame him NEVER come back and give him due when something goes right..if you are going to bash coaching then its only right you credit when its going well. But do uou ever see that? NO. Its not like im making threads praising him but never blaming. That doesnt happen. I say what i always say the players played well. At least im consistent

Yes, I do see that. As a matter of fact, this season I posted that while I'm a Tomlin basher, I had to give him credit for eliminating that stupid 10 yard cushion on defense. I've seen MANY times people give him credit when he does something right. You see what you want to see.

So to you, it's all solely 100% about the players, and the coaches don't matter.

nothing immediate about anything .....everyone but drew blames a combination between the players and coaches.

but the pattern is there, and eventually it will be Tommy Toms undoing.

Unfocused undisciplined team, team has only one person to blame.

Regardless if drew agrees or disagrees Tomlin is responsible for any bad trends.

As Ben's magic fades you will see less of a player masking the coaching deficiencies.

To me drew with you it is funny to me that you after all this time you have held onto your cockamamie notion that Tomlin is responsible for little to nothing, despite the trends.

Despite 99% of the fans knowing the coach is ultimately held accountable for the teams they coach.

Personally I am all for bringing in some new blood. As things are stale, and a big struggle game to game to game.

Majority of the time they aren't in the right position on both sides of the ball.

When you have one unit under-performing you can lock in on them. But outside of a untested secondary this team has been mediocre at best.

Yes those who have done it before never the ones who immediate fallback is coaching. Like i said already. There were changes made last year that contributed to the 9 game winning streak. And i was just asked what coaching adjustments have i ever seen that contributed to wins

I gave him tons of credit last year for turning the team around from losing 4 straight and falling under 500
