Ben Roethlisberger said “maybe I don’t have it anymore” directly after his 5 interceptions against Jacksonville, Sunday. If you look at the context, or know anything about Roethlisberger you would know that it was sarcasm from a frustrated quarterback.

This morning on his radio show on 93.7 The Fan, Roethlisberger discussed those comments and cleared […]

It's a good read and for those who jumped to the conclusion of Rothlesberger quitting, I'm glad he isn't. After a devastating loss, even us armchair fans, have a tough swallow and jump to conclusions. Ben will find his way as he is "Franchise" but it's our coaching that continuously fails that I'm worried about. I hope they both come through.

Salute the nation

Play like your pissed.😠

There's a reason why we own the word..."SUPERBIKE".

With apologies to Tuco in "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" - "When you have to play, play. Don't talk". From Tomlin, to Roethlisberger, to Antonio Brown, to Bell, this team is all talk and no action. When this season is finally over, this will be the hallmark of the Steeler season. I hope I'm wrong but I've seen enough of this team and it's lack of focus for the last several years to think otherwise.

I recall what I said about Antonio Brown - he is talk and action.

"Back in the day" when I was about 40 years younger and the Steelers were rolling through the NFL winning Lombardis I spent some time in Amarillo TX and they used to say: "All Hat and No Cattle"
I thought that was kind of cool then.

With respect to Ben, I hope whatever is clouding his thinking process got cleared away after Sunday and he settles down and does his job. If Haleys dumbass play calling doesn't make sense with the feel of the game then unload on that jagoff and be done with it! He should call out Tomlin as well, what's MT going to do bench him? Without Roethlisberger in a game Tomlin becomes a foot note.
FAK all this PC bullsheet and get your arses out on that field and start playing with a chip on your shoulders! And why are defenders dancing and posing after a tackle when an opponent just made a first down?? WTF is that??

That's all I wanted to hear from Ben. Now give the OLine an asskicking to jumpstart them, oh and tell Haley to get his head out of his ***

Ben will be fine! I listened to 93.7 and Ben’s interview and what he said was exactly what I had expected from him.
He had a bad day and I don’t think he needs to be reminded. He’s a pro and will move on to the next game like he always has. I have the utmost confidence in him. I wish I could say the same for Lev Bell, Tomlin, Haley, and what’s looking like an overrated OL.
Ben’s not the issue, the above is.

if you cant see that ben's play has been "below the line" dating back to the end of last season by now, I think the tint in your black-and-gold sunglasses might be a bit too "thick"

Prior to Sunday Ben had a 6 TD to 2 int ratio. Although not Brady of Rogers type numbers they weren’t bad at all.
Last year he had one dependable receiver in Brown and still put up good numbers. The loss of Bryant hurt last year and with the
likes of Coates, DHB, Rogers, I wouldn’t say he had a strong receiving Corp. and since the retirement of Miller the TE position has be very underwhelming,

You don’t know what the **** you’re talking about. If Ben goes down this team is done. He is the reason for the success of this team. He played bad enough last year to get us one game from the SB with literally one legitimate receiving threat.

My sunglasses work fine Amigo! What I can see is always a chance at winning with no.7 and without him a lot of losing.

**** it, better come out 5 WIDE ******* on Sunday!

Ok, I'm only going to go through this once. Let's look at your attempt to use the trademarked SN phrase. You need a comma after "wide" or else you are promoting chubby lovin' (not that there's anything wrong with that).
Also, you need at least 3 exclamation points at the end. On the positive side you used all caps so you still get a marginally passing grade. In the future, it should look like this:

5 WIDE, *******!!!

Let this be a reminder for all. :encouragement:

seriously?? he IS slowly "going down", albeit probably a rate too slow for you to notice, I guess? Consider this: So far this season, Antonio Brown has only one touchdown catch, we are still waiting for that breakout game from Martavis Bryant, and Ben is struggling to throw the deep ball in a big way. Ben has completed 47 percent of his passes on throws of 15 or more yards down the field, with 16 touchdowns in 2016, a good portion of which, was early in the season. So far this year? He's completing just 34 percent of his passes on such throws with five interceptions and zero touchdowns. But no, no, nothing happening with Ben, let's continue to suck his **** like it's 2007.

Are you one of the people who said the Bus was done too? He wasn't.

Hopefully Ben can be the best person to decide when he's done. It will sure suck if the Steeler's screw him over.

With Bryant running short crossing patterns that’s crazy. He’s your deep threat so use him as such, and why not mention the dropped TD passes by both Bryant and Brown.
And the idiot coach benches Rogers who ill admit is far from great but he had built a rhythm with Ben and goofy benches him.
He’s had virtually no running game except the Ravens game but rather than bring Connor in more, and Watson on short yardage near the goal line, goofy goes with an empty backfield.
The problem is not Ben, it’s the fact there is no leadership and no identity on offense. Ben it looks like is setup to fail by a offensive coordinator who is better suited as a golf coach, and a head coach who clearly does not have control of this football team.
Tomlin has benefited by having Ben and when he’s gone this board will bail like rats on a ship because the losing will begin. That should spell the end to the real problem, Tomlin.

Ben is 100% in? I thought we were done talking about his sexual exploits...

He played SO MUCH BETTER when he was out whoring around. His play has slipped since he got married. Must be sexually frustrated.

The dropped TDs do not fit the Ben sucks and should leave now crowd. I'll say it again, 3 passes, the Bryant dropped long TD at Christmas Chicago, the pass to Bell in the flat that would've put him one on one with a LB in space, and the phantom int at Baltimore that should've been down by contact on AB. If those 3 catches are made Ben would've had a 101 QB rating heading into the Jax game.
