Another one. I must admit I did not see this one coming.

Bad coaching. Jax is weak vs the run. Let's pass! A blown timeout. A mismanaged time out.

Thought you were going to throw out some stats for comparison.....

We already saw that in the week after the Bears game :)

Let's just say it's not a Fluke or Fad. It's a trend.

Maybe its because we've seen some great games from Ben, but have never seen any great coaching from cool shade?

Nope none..losses are on coaches and wins are in spite of the coaching.

Coach,

You have created 5+ threads criticizing the coaches.

You have created 0 threads criticizing the QB who threw 5 ints.

Oh I said Ben did not play well more than once.

Um, Jags were leading their division, and still are.

Also turnovers are the only reason you lose to lesser comp, and that ain't on the coaching staff...

So what exactly is MT's record and winning percentage against teams with a sub-.500 record?
Inquiring minds want to know.

It's horrendous. What **** game plans overall. Same exact bullshit for years. YEARS of looking like ***. Soft ***.

In this case its true. Its obvious that the team has had the talent to win in spite of Tomlin not because of him. Now I think Ben may be losing some of his edge and Tomlin will be exposed even more.

Well when your opponent is weak vs the run, and you try to pass when their corners are playing well and you piss away your times outs...

What exactly did you see in the run game to think it was going to be good? A few nice runs but a lot of being stuffed as our line folded like a cheap tent.

I am sick of these two factions blame Ben, Blame Tomlin. **** it blame them all. The Coaches did not call good plays but the players certainly did not hold up their end either. THIS game I put a bit more on the players than coaches simply due to some turnovers that were not totally anyone's fault. Brown does not tip that in the air maybe we win. The line blocks and keeps the DL hands down maybe we win. McDonald fights for the damn ball maybe we win. That is not all on coaching or even Ben. I don' think he played great but he did not play as bad as it looked. The team let him down all around. Tomlin made 2 really bad challenges, Haley apparently does not like using a full back to pound the ball, that would have been the only way to win running. I absolutely detest the overuse of spread running versus running out of an I or pro set. This is on them all! Tomlin has absolutely coached some great games and had stinkers.

I saw good last week when the Steelers played McDonald, and Nix with Bell, as each man blocks a ton. Suddenly Bell who does not look as explosive this year has room to run.

I don't care if neither McDonald or Nix is a threat as a pass catcher. What I care about is they can block, and to be honest Brown get most of the receptions. I do not think teams can stop our power offense, and then they deploy the safety closer to the line of scrimmage, then we can hit them with a big passing play.

We need more 3rd and shorts...

As far as coaching goes, they NEED to put the players in the best positions to maximize our strengths and target the opponents weaknesses. We also need to manage the clock and time out better. I see an epic fail here as we did neither yesterday.

If Ben isn't here this is a .500 team with a loaded defense, and good offense. Tomlin lost that new car smell years ago.

Last week had nothing to do with the rushing game yesterday. What transpired yesterday that made you believe that the running game was the key to victory? It couldn't have been the 3 ypc, could it? The running game was ineffective not for lack of "sticking to it," it was ineffective cause the line got absolutely NO push, and Jacksonville was able to eat it up. Last weeks performance had nothing to do with yesterday.

It appears that Jacksonville and Chicago sold out on the run and forced the Steelers to throw the ball.

Radio said 5-13.

Of course that is not true. But I would really challenge anyone to come up with one of these games where **** just wasnt working and the coaching staff course corrected the team and they won. Im not saying they have never come back. Im saying when you could clearly see an adjustment.

How about the whole 9 game winning streak last year. Changing to a run orientated attack that spurred a 9 game winning streak and a trip to the AFC championship game.

When you have a top five QB, the best all-around RB and the best WR in the league, I think it's fair to expect more than three FG's. Need to look at WTF the OC is thinking and if it's true that Ben isn't running the first team offense in practice then that **** has to change.

The absolute stupidest thing Tomlin did yesterday was the challenge in the 1st half he said he did because the team was tired and needed a timeout. What the **** ? Call a timeout don't waste a challenge retard. He is beyond stupid and living in his fears would be a huge upgrade over his scattershot and illogical reasoning.
