The Steelers were without TJ Watt, Marcus Gilbert, and Stephon Tuitt on Sunday. It showed. Good news is that a three were full participants on Wednesday in practice.

Linebacker Bud Dupree who has been dealing with a shoulder injury for three weeks was limited. He has played the last two weeks. Jesse James left Sunday’s […]

Thing that irritates me a little is this.

Ben a day off, Martavis a day off, Bell a day off.

If the O was in a groove I wouldn't blink.

But it isn't.... I feel they need the extra reps, and I think that extra day shouldn't be given.

Until they are obviously in a groove again.

Tuitt practiced all last week and didn't play. Watt practiced last Wednesday and then not on Thursday or Friday. I'll wait until Sunday to get excited that either of them might be back. I would think Tuitt might be back and Watt not.

Bell hasn't "played" since August. Just sayin'

Watts injury came across as not serious. I would actually be surprised to see Watt or Tuitt not play. I also remember Tuitt being a limited participant for the most part of last week. As both practiced fully today........

Hate to see both starting safeties out. Hope at least 1 is ready to go on Sunday.

we need Tuitt badly, And Deebo has to play a bit at ILB in the nickel at MLB

Watt thought his injury wasn't a big deal but practicing once last week and then not practicing the next 2 days or playing shows it's not a one week thing. I would be surprised to see him play this week. If he practices and is at 100%, then play him. Otherwise, as I've said before, don't risk the nagging year long injury that groins have a habit of turning into.

I think today and tomorrow's injury report will be more telling than yesterday's. What's the word with Foster's thumb injury? Did he break the thumb?

Yeah groins and hammies, which is what Gilbert has are tricky, they can nag if not healed fully. The thing about Watt that worries me is that I saw him hurt his groin at training camp when I was there. He only missed a few minutes and was back, and looked good vs Cleveland.

Can't understand this either. Ben wasn't hurt. He even admitted playing bad. Why take the day off?
Why does Martavis need off when the offense is terrible right now?

Don't get it...
