Tomlin's interview

That is a good point. Though his reckless use of twitter has now led to a country declaring war on us. That is dangerous for all americans.

JGP, Obama never tweeted to kill a cop or start a fight, Trump actually encouraged people to throw punches. Also linking Obama to BLM is akin to linking Trump to White Supremacy. Both are equally wrong associations.

Obama never had to tweet kill a cop or start a fight.

Those cop killing leftists in Dallas and the violent protesters at Trump rallies knew what they had to do....and you wonder why Trump said to punch back.

So you agree. Trump's words directly incite violence.

Standing for the Anthem is not about politics. Never has been. Its what leftists and their fake cause have turned it into.

Steeler fans sleep eat and breathe Steeler football. The images on TV of Steeler fans burning their jerseys and towels demonstrates that yes, there are things in life far greater than football.

And with this said I think the league has a ways to go. I'm not sure they'll regain their fans back.
I'm starting to feel the nfl is done.

I'm not so sure. "There are good guys, on both sides" doesn't denounce anyone.

You want to cherry pick a line favorite that liberals twist while ignoring the fact that he denounced the KKK and white supremacy publically at least twice?

I know its hard to swallow, but by "good" people he clearly meant those that work hard to provide for their families, pay their taxes, are law abiding, and protest PEACEFULLY despite their misguided views.
Right or wrong it was said as way to pacify all involved ... to "keep calm".

You folks acknowledge that Trump is an inarticulate speaker. Speaks like a simpleton. Sounds like a buffoon, but refuse to take that into account and take his "outrageous" comments seriously when it suits your agenda.

And both of you continue improper associations.

The argument is:

Trump's words are divisive, dangerous, and directly incite violence.

No amount of "Obama knew that guy", or "Trump didn't mean that" don't mean anything.

What means something is the black athletes (and minorities in general) are stirred up by Trump's direct words. The country of North Korea is as well.

You can't spin that into, "but Obama" because Trump is directly responsible for his own words.

I am a business owner, and I take responsibility for each and every word I say, tweet, or email. I expect the same amount of responsibility and accountabliity from my president.

What violence from the right are you speaking of?

Trump telling people to go ahead and punch people, and he will pay for their fines. Many people have been punched, and there's a few gifs over in the P/R forum that has the right laughing about. Not to mention the violence from an actual congressmen attacking a reporter.

There is nothing funny about physical violence from any side. And nothing funny at all when Trump gives his base the OK to use fisticuffs.

No matter the issue, there is no line to cross in liberalism. Anything goes if it makes you feel good about your uppity selves.

Men that think they are women should be allowed to use the little girls room, yeah why not. Look at how compassionate I am.
Engaging in violence believing it is their right.
Kneeling for anthem is crossing the line when on a day when we on both sides should all be united to watch a football game without having to have politics shoved in your face.
Thanks liberals, you've done it again.

Jim Brown said it best ...you wanna play football then play football, you wanna be an activist go be an activist. (paraphrased)

And the people were stirred by the constant **** that came out of the WH for 8 years. See the results of the election for proof. The only difference we don't act like morons and spoiled brats.

I don't think you can speak for Trump. And again. What exactly did Obama say, tweet, or write that directly instigated violence? Or name an instance where he verbally justified violence, if you continue to make that association.

To be clear, I'm not a dem. Just a centrist that calls it like I see it.

Do you guys like to hear it when Trump upsets minorities, or upsets North Korea? I want to know good that would come of that?

That's violence? Oh the humanity!

That was Trump acting like a child by calling for retaliation against violent leftists at his rallies. You leftist believe you have a right to be violent.

Come back when someone from the right takes a gun to an event in an attempt to assassinate Democrat senators.
Or maybe it would be easier for you to remind me of how conservatives started fights at Obama rallies and rioted in the streets after that POS was elected.

Every time there was a instance of a white/black issue. Instead of telling people to wait for the facts he fanned the flames. See Trayvon, Baltimore, St. Louis, the workplace violence shooting. Damn the **** goes on and on. And by the way **** NK and there crazy ******* the sooner he is taken out the better the world will be.

I'm not a leftist. I'm a centrist. I enjoy thoughtful debate, not venom and rhetoric. I don't support any violence, yet I can't get a straight answer to defend Trump's direct support for violent acts.

So still no defense to Trump's words?

And NK is a real problem that would destabilize Japan, South Korea, and possibly China. You think it's a good idea to take out a dictator, but we did the same thing in Iraq 15 years ago, and look at the money drain that region continues to be. We're already fighting an endless war in the middle east. You think our economy will do just fine heading into a more expensive conflict in East Asia? Nothing would destabilize our economy faster.

I just answered your damn question.

"What exactly did Obama say, tweet, or write that directly instigated violence? Or name an instance where he verbally justified violence, if you continue to make that association. "

So Trump incited violence telling people to punch people. You are just being stupid on purpose. Every time there is violence it's always the left. Every time a city gets looted and burned the left. Obama not addressing the BLM group directly led to police officers getting murdered in the street. But oh yeah Trump told his supporters to fight back. Give me a damn break. You are just ignoring the facts for the sake of argument. You will be like all of those other lefties , keep acting like the victim, and Trump will continue to play you like the fools you are.

I'm not ignoring any facts, you are fabricating them. Look at how you are answering the questions. To say the left is solely to blame is myopic at best. I see 2 parties with a ton blame on each.

Obama never said to hit, punch, kill people. He never openly threatened people or nations. This is why I had little problems with him in office. When the current president's own words starts to destabilize nations, it's a problem.

The fact that you have to attack a non sitting president for the current words and actions of a sitting president is confounding to me. There is no defense to his words.

Perhaps Trump should be presidential and use words to bring people together and try to deescalate situations? I will be all for it, if he gets behind it. Until then, I can't support his reckless, divisive tweets, words, and actions.

You asked me about what Obama said. I told you and gave you numerous examples of situations he could have diffused. People died when he could have helped.

Does the Arab spring ring a bell ? Benghazi ring a bell. Obama had **** flame up all over the world.

And I don't agree with a lot of what Trump tweets and the way he tweets. But to act like this **** is new is nothing more than you being a hypocrite.

Hey, did anyone hear about the Anthem kneeling thing that went on last weekend in the NFL?

Right on! Villanueva was the only person in that locker room (player or coach) that knows he is a USA citizen FIRST and a football player SECOND.

Villanueva is a stand up guy. He did not throw his team under the bus, they threw HIM and the entire Nation under the bus.
