yes

So no one else matters now? Ben is the only guy on the field? Whatever, you've bitched for 7 hours about Ben, who didn't play great, but the defense gave up 200+ yards rushing, including 3 long runs in OT, but all you want ***** about is the qb

Nope the run defense was extra *** today. But i will always be critical of our best player running an offense built around him and he doesn't play well. Just like others will blame coaching on everything.

Games over if Bryant catches the ball, Ben didn't play well but he can't throw it and catch it

But to be honest there was some serious ******* holding that went on.. but guys were in position to make play on defense and didnt. Coaching put them in position have to tackle. And Rogers sucks as the PR. I do blame Tomlon and company for that. Just put Brown back there and be done with it. Also Hargrave needs to play more. Maybe a 3-3-5 Look

A coach is accountable for his players repeated performances... there is enough of a track record here to crucify Tomlin... you have ling overdefended him but that is not a good position anymore... the guy has a pretty long track record of underperforming now... it is what it is...

Yep and thats how the coaches draw it up. Makes sense..

Nah I don't think they draw it up to be "bad", but I do think the play-calling is different - less aggressive, less confident. I know what the coaches have in mind when they do this - don't make the big mistake on the road, just don't lose it. They aren't TRYING to suck, but given the guys we have on this team, that strategy is not optimizing our team and leads to **** play. We have the weapons to go out and TAKE the game, even on the road. Not just "not lose" it. This mentality can damage the energy the team plays with. And if everything is bad - blocking, receiver play (besides AB), QB, RB.. the whole offense was bad, to me that suggests a larger problem. Like I've said before, if it were just a couple guys constantly screwing up and ruining it for everyone else playing well and playing hard, then yes blame those guys. But to me, when several units, several players, in all 3 phases of the game, are just not playing as well as we KNOW they can and have in the past, this suggests a larger issue. Especially when it happens several times per season like clockwork. Where else do you look besides the coaching?

So again what he should he do about ben sucking on the road..start Landry?? Is that not a common denominator in these losses.

At the players not executing is where i start. Because thats what i can see sitting on my *** watching. Cant speculate on anything else but that

I start with coach not having the team focused and in position to win. Then I go to the rest of the coaches and players who need to embrace the suck.
Yinz can't point fingers at the players without including the coaches. Especially again beating the dead horse, with a half a decade trend showing itself clearly.

Speculation. ESPECIALLY when the QB said they didnt do any thing they werent prepared for..but thats just talk my bad

Yinz are leaning way too much on a QB who is just being politically correct. Not sure why that you don't get that.Outside of your love affair with trying to blame Ben..... sure he shares the blame but not as much as some other areas deserve the blame.

I can see you are set in your ways. But sometimes maybe logic should find itself into your discussion.

]In the end, Roethlisberger took the blame for Sunday’s loss to the Bears[/B].

“I need to play better football,” the quarterback said. “I’ll take this game on me. I didn’t play well enough. I missed too many throws, didn’t make good reads, whatever it was. Turned the ball over on a sack fumble. I can’t do that so this one’s on me. The good news is, if you will, its an NFC road game and it’s early in the season and I take the approach is all this means is that were not going to be undefeated.”

Roethlisberger was then asked if the Bears defense did anything in particular that wasnt expected.

“Nope, they lined up and kind of did some things, pretty much everything we expected them to do,” Roethlisberger said. “Obviously, you throw wrinkles here and there but we just need to execute. That’s them making plays, stopping us and I think I was just off today. For whatever reason, I didn’t make all the throws that I normally would and make the plays I normally should and that’s why I think we lost this game.”

But nevermind thats just Ben being a stand up guy

Because Ben is a leader, something the HC could learn a lot from.

They have the same offensive game plan on the road every game. Medium to long passes that aren't there.

Funny I've posted numerous articles saying he needs to play better. Guess those guys are wrong too. Its starts with Ben because of the way out offense is set up. No different then we were a run first team in the 90s early 00s. Stop Jerome Bettis and the run game you have a damn good shot at winning because that was our identity. We didnt need the QB to have a big game now we do.

You cherry pick articles to support your viewpoints, then pass them off as fact.

That game yesterday was a fail in every way imaginable.

All three units contributed to fail. And if we dig deeper we can section it off.

Oline pass protect and opening holes in the run game -fail
WR play outside of Antonio-fail
QB shotty play -fail
Half time coaching adjustments- fail
RB play fail
TE play fail
OLBer contain fail
ILBer play fail
ST play fail - which largly contributed to the loss too

too many fails for you to cherry pick

but funny you can keep posting articles to convince yourself it was Big Ben

Take BIg Ben off this team , and there is no light at the end of the tunnel

only darkness

deep darkness

deep

Oh well sprinkle some pixie dust on it

Also to add after further review

that Martavis pass was a drop on his part, not a overthrow -Martavis fault

Shazier had six missed tackles, Dupree and Williams had two apiece. Approximately 15 missed tackles overall, just wow. How many could have been avoided with coaching half time adjustments? - Coaching fault -Tommy Tom

The punter didn't know the rule about a ball not being able to be fumbled forward, the coaches should know that rule, and it should have been taught to every player. So ****** special teams led to 10 points for them, and 3 points taken off the board for us. That is easily the biggest fail of the game. -Coaching fault -ST coach

A trend that dates back to 2009.

It is coaching, complete different rosters, same results
