The biggest concern.....

I would say using a **** load of 2DL sets vs a team that runs all the time and can't pass a decision that directly resulted in us losing

not what I was getting at

I was getting at that this team will not put itself in the ultimate position to win it all, and ultimately only one is to blame for that.

IF you go into the playoffs and you aren't a good road team, you better put yourself in a position to not have to win on the road.

This team is already behind the 8 ball in this regard.

Glad you do. My Schick stays the same..never blamed a steelers coach before wont start now. If you arent in the locker room practice field or sidelines i dont see how you can watching from your tv sets. Only thing you can see is players playing

And your shtick will have a painful time seeing someone pass this team for the lead in SB wins.

Which is why they play the game I believe.

Well technically we are still ahead of NE. Even if we were one game up on NE. As long as we are with in one game or tied with them, we have to beat them in December. We play pretty well on the road vs good teams

Yeah but probably a better chance at home or not?

As I don't think anyone has confidence in this team beating the Pats in Foxboro.

And I don't want to tie with those cheating ******* either for the record.

Definitely a better chance at home.

From Alex Kozora of Steelers Digest:

"Steelers allowed three straight runs of 36, 18, and 19 yards to end the game. Far back as data goes (1994), that's never happened before."

as one of our best run defenders Harrison sits on the bench... so what kind of coaches do we have?

You'd think they would've learned their lesson after watching Dallas shred us while Harrison watched

No excuse for James not getting in today. It's not like Chickillo is out there getting pressure on every play and stopping the defense from getting gashed.
I don't know what's going on in the latest episode of the Harrison saga.

I think the real problem was Sammy Coates wearing the #10 jersey today. The dropped pass on the first play set the tone of failure for the day.

Did not like the effort I saw from #10 today. Not. At. All.

In his defense, he was poorly used. They kept running his routes right into the teeth of the defense. Even the announcers could not figure out why he was running a slant/dig in the endzone when the corner had hard inside leverage. Ben should have sight adjusted him to the outside and he would have been wide open for a TD. Stick nod to the pylon for six.

Same on that deep one that was almost picked. Martavis is fast, but when the corner is playing 10 yards off in over you don't try to throw the ball over him. Martavis had no shot there. Back shoulder that **** or adjust to a hitch at the sideline. Make them pay for backing up. Either the communication was off, or Haley was forcing some bullshit on them. In any event, you can't run routes at the teeth of a defense and expect to succeed, no matter how big or fast your WR is.

lol predictable

Last time I checked he was in charge of the play calling on offense. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong...

Anything not to blame Tomlin who signs off on everything.

Last time I checked the whole team in every phase of the game sucked.

And ultimately the coach is responsible for that.

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong....

i would like big ben to become the head coach when he retires. i agree the talent is there. i thought the talent on this team this year was the best it has been in a long time and the result is no where close to where i thought the offense should be. i agree i have seen enough of tomlin as head coach. i've seen all i need to see. don't need any more. enough. please. enough. get someone else please.

Has to be the offense. All that talent, and nothing. This wasn't just today. This offense has been sputtering all three games. Poor play calling, worse execution, it is bad. I know our defense has issues, but I expected that. They haven't been good in a while. But with the talent on offense, no reason they shouldn't be scoring regularly. This team as a whole has ALOT of issues.

Tomlin is still in charge. Still losing to bad teams. And might have caused a lingering distraction with this stay in the locker room to disrespect the national anthem nonsense.

That's funny. Somebody mentioned AFC Championship like the Steelers and Tomlin have any ******* hope of making THAT trip this year.

The ******* Bears just kicked their ***** up and down. The field. All Day Long.

Actually through all my bitching and I did a lot of bitching yesterday after the game.

I am talking neighborhood wives book club gathering type of bitching here.

I still think the Steelers can reach the AFC Championship.

But they aren't X and O smart. Winning on the road to get to the SB?

that is a entirely different monster

I have no faith in that at all.

none

zero

zilch

Yesterday showed this team simply can't adapt when the chips are down.

Now that is not saying the team still couldn't miss the playoffs.

We can see they aren't very smart, anything short of a SB trip is possible.

But that for me is where the buck stops.

Going by this teams history they will do just enough to impress the owners and sure some fans who like participation trophies.

But for diehard fanatics like me, it won't be good enough. Because I know the talent level is there no matter what a few coach deflecting fans want to spew.
