A couple things yaz need to know
1.) Where I live we are in EXTREME drought conditions, no open fires & smoking ONLY inside/car
2.) Major construction zone, stops / yields / etc at random spots, lots traffic

So I'm going through this intersection and this lady in front of me is on her CELL PHONE and all over the place
All the while smoking and taping her ashes out her window. Finally she flicks her 1/2 cigaret out her window while at a stop sign. I hollaring out my window for her to pick her ******* cigaret up and she sticks her head out her window and says "**** you you impacille *******" then see's my STEELERs bumper sticker on my front bumper and says OH sorry, I love my STEELERS, then promptly peels on outa there. (I did pick up the ******* li cig)

What's the strange like things that ended well due to your STEELERS affiliation. Tell us about it.
LOVE IT

PS this is a little different thread just to change up the pace

who has bumper stickers on their front bumper? Id like to see this car.

I was at the airport in Kuwait, waiting for my baggage, i had gone home on emergency leave.

Franco was standing accross from me and i had my Steeler hat on . I went over , talked to him, got pic taken by his brother. He was supposed to send me the pic. But he never did.

Yinz should have ran her *** off the road, that would have taught her.;

:biggrin1:

YOU of all people should have a strange but true good ending story, you flucking maniac........

Nothing like that - but I certainly have found myself in conversations in all kinds of places, bars, airports, etc. because I'm wearing Steelers gear. People of all ages, all walks of life, most of the time you'd never, for any other reason, stop and have a chat with a stranger like that. But the Steelers gear starts a great convo and you meet a great person/group of people. Has happened too many times to count

I HEAR this as same thing happens all the time. Just for ***** and giggles I wore a "STEELERS" tie to the movies once and hardly had time to watch the movie. I couldn't get from the lobby to the actual movie........ All good though because I love to hear people's stories.

I took the NASCAR front plate off last week and put the Steelers plate on.

I've got bright gold, almost mirror like plate on the front of my truck, with bold black Steelers lettering

Followed someone a few days ago with a Steelers license plate frame. As they were making a turn onto another street they waved a terrible towel out the window. We're everywhere!

This post is useless without pictures.:hitit:

I always marvel at the folks that walk up to you, see you have a Steelers hat, shirt, shoes, pants, terrible towel hangin out of your pocket and they say "Steelers fan?" I know it is just a way for them to start the conversation, but I always find it funny.

Have had the same experience. Buddies and I attended Steelers games at a Steelers bar, wearing our Steelers jerseys, Steelers hats. Driving home after a game, guy pulls up alongside and says, "Steelers fans, ehh?" I ask, "How'd you know?"

Oh in my younger days I had some good road rage stories.Today present day yinz have to be more careful though. As things have changed from fist a cuff to everyone shooting each other, like idiots. At least when we were throwing hands like idiots one of us wouldn't have bitten the dust.

I have that all the time, and even have peeps in the neighborhood that see my truck and start talking. Even a beer distributor that drops off signs and just leaves them on my porch. Now that I am back in the Burgh, there is not a shortage of Steelers conversations.

I always rep Steelers swag when I'm out of town.

That is so kewl. I've been in search of a "STEELER MOBILE" for about 10years now. I want to buy something real unique and restore it but using STEELErS paint / memorabilia and stuff to do it. I just about bought a Cushman 3 wheeler (made in the 60's) but the deal fell through. Currently I'm looking at this mini kewl van-like vehicle. It has the steering on the RH side and hopefully I can get it at the right $$$$$. Your truck sounds awesome and if I'm ever out to the Burgh I'd sure like to see it.
