Bengals / Texans

I think brown is too cheap and will get the whole season out of him...

Well, it's not like they can go find a coach in the middle of the season. They'd just likely let one of the coordinators run the team until the end of the year. Marv hasn't been as horrible as some here make him out to be. The Bengals were a two decade train wreck before he got there. He's a Marty type. He can get a team off the floor. If he had been hired by Cleveland, they wouldn't be in this long drought. The problem is, like Marty, Marv only gets you so high. It's great early in his run, because fans are happy to be relevant again, and the players are listening to him, but after a while, it wears off. His shelf life there is over. He should have moved on after the playoff loss. Look what a fresh start did for Andy Reid.

One of the worse performances I have seen from Dalton. Time to put that boy out to the pasture.

Tell me you didn't enjoy that watt's final tackle to end the bungling hopes with all those lateral passes

NOT for the basic fundamental tackle but for the FACT the game was over...!!!!!

Salute the nation

Think our whole defense should watch that tackle

ANYBODY notice JJ might be a TD less dominant after his year off??? I'm sure the injury didn't help but also the wear and tear catching up???

Yep. I don't know so much if the coaches are doing anything different, but I do know teams typically go as their QBs go. And Dalton has fallen off a cliff. It's definitely time for them to move on

It's time to pass that on to his heir!

Watson is hot garbage. O knew coming put of college he was a dumb QB who ran a simple high school spread offense with only one read. He is too dumb to run a pro style offense and lacks a good enough arm and no foot speed to be an athlete playing QB.

BWAhahahahahaha - he had foot speed enough for the Bungles

How does Marvin Lewis keep his job?

Mike Brown is too cheap to hire anyone, then he'd have to pay for a whole new staff too

Bengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick after loss to Texans: “We suck”

Being shutout to open the season and losing to a rookie quarterback in his first career start four days later is already taking its toll on the Cincinnati Bengals.

With a trip to face the Green Bay Packers on the docket in 10 days, the Bengals are facing the real possibility of an 0-3 start. Any chances they have of competing for a playoff spot this season could be shot before the start of October.

One #Bengals player yells: "We just lost to the worst team in the league."

Another responds: "Don't say that. They beat us." @FOX19

0-2 and w/that, statistically, they are in the 8% category of making the playoffs, esp w/a division loss at home. Comedic gold.

You can call me THE FOOTBALL GENIUS!

Good call. The NFL could have a problem. I see too many teams with bad QB play. What happens when a starter goes down...it will become worst for the most part.

So maybe the Ravens aren't as good as many think after beating that dumpster fire??

When has this ever not been the case? As long as I've been watching the NFL, you have about a third of the qbs that range from great, to good. The middle third are either young qbs on the possible rise, old guys in decline, and Neil O'Donnell types. The bottom third is comprised of rookies, and second year guys who may or may not develop, and scrubs who might be a decent backup on a good team. It has always been this way.

This is true. But the league rule enforcement hasn't always been this slanted in favor of the offense (and the passing game specifically). So because of the way the game is played now, if your QB isn't any good, your team is miserable to watch. So like.. 2/3 of the league is miserable to watch, and could be even more with injuries
