Second round pick JuJu Smith-Schuster made his NFL debut on Sunday, but it wasn’t exactly the most memorable. Smith-Schuster was called for two early holding calls that stalled Steelers drives before they even were able to start.

It was 1st down and 10 for the Steelers. They had just blocked a punt, recovering it for […]

I agree with the overall sentiment that JJSS has a big opportunity in front of him and would be great for him to take advantage of it. But I think there's more urgency and negativity than I would put on it just yet. Yeah the 0 catches isn't pretty and the penalties hurt, but they were on what, his first and second drives of his NFL career? He's a really talented kid, with really talented players ahead of him, he's gonna be alright. This kind of pressure after one game feels a little over the top

I agree. I just think for the future he needs to pick it up and not let the game be too much for him. I know there's a tomlinism in here and I can hear him talking in my head i just can't find the right words.

Let's hope JU-JU has it above the neck. The Tomlinism here is when Tomlin said S. Thomas doesn't have it above the neck, as to why he isn't playing more.

Although I think JU-JU can be a capable #2WR or decent #3WR, I felt we should have picked DB here.

With two early flags in a limited amount of time, Ju-Ju should be on a short leash for the next game. Right now Ayers is more NFL ready, and was productive when called upon.

A true assessment for Thomas then.

Your opinion of what you think about the JJSS pick and your preference has been noted by you ad nauseam. Let it go.

FYI, Ayers isn't on the team. So it doesn't matter he is NFL ready. Natch.

Spinach bratwurst with grilled onions on fresh croissants was my choice for supper. JuJu will be fine as he just needs a little playing time. It was a big event for him and he will settle in nicely. AB & Co. will help him adjust. I bet he has more than 2 catches in this Viking's game.

Salute the nation

Geez! Relax why don't ya! The rookie played in his first game for crying out loud. JuJu will be fine.
Let him get acclimated to the NFL and the speed of the game. This entire offense was out of sync with the exception of Ben and AB. Relax guys! He will be fine and the offense will come together.

JuJu did have a tackle!

Dude might still be running on that INT if JuJu didn't bring him down.
