Biggest positive that jumped out at me in this one....I think they may have found something in Sutton. For a guy getting his first action of the pre season this week, he did a damn fine job.
As much as I diss on Landry he did ok for the most part but still had a couple "Landry" moments. That said, after watching Dobbs the past couple weeks I think Landry's spot as the #2 guy is safe for now. Dobbs will be #3 and he'll get another shot to take Landry's spot next year. He'll have to play a lot better though.
I agree that Watson needs a spot on the team. He runs hard and powerful. I would keep he and Conner over Troussaint. I also hope they find a spot for Tre Williams even if it's on the PS. I want to see more of him. Shifty guy.
Ju Ju did a nice job as well. I like the way he got back out there after getting injured and made a couple very nice plays. Shows that he wants to make an impression. I don't know how many looks he will get this season but he might be one of those guys whose reps increase as the season goes on and he gets more comfortable.
The first team defense sure looks frustrating but they always seem to get it together when the real games start. Facing Cleveland and a rookie QB in Week 1 should be a good way to get out of the gate.
