Game On! Steelers vs Colts game 3 PS

Revis is shot at corner,If he switched to safety I'd take a flyer

So you just don't bother taking a chance on one of the best DB's in since 2000 and just say "NEXT MAN UP!"

How bout understanding the fact that Revis is a guy who jams at the Line of Scrimmage. That is his game! Last season he suffered a wrist injury early in the season that prevented him from being able to do that. To his credit he still played the whole season not missing a snap. No professional athlete will play an entire career at a pro level. At some point the body just breaks down. It happened to James Harrison before he left for Cincy. He retired......only in desperation did we bring him back and I guess that worked out pretty good for us!

I'm willing to give Revis a chance. Just his experience alone can do wonders for a young secondary!

Cobi Hamilton may have signed his ticket out of the 412

Career passer rating of QBs targeting Darrelle Revis 2007-15: 60.4

Passer rating of QBs targeting Darrelle Revis 2016: 109.8

To not bring Revis in to see what he has in the tank is a mistake! He played with a serious wrist injury last season that really hampered his ability to jam WR's at the line of scrimmage. His play improved at the end of the season as his wrist healed up.

You are delusional if you think watching this secondary right now....and you think they can beat the Patriots Dec 17th. Heck from what I've seen so far in the preseason Ben & company better be ON....BIG TIME because they can't stop any QB! While I agree the future in the youth like Cameron Sutton but it doesn't hurt to bring in a veteran to help the young kids. Remember 2004 when they brought back Willie Williams to help our young guys on secondary like Troy Polamalu, Deshea Townsend & Ike Taylor! This is that same situation all over again!

very disappointing week 3 game. Most teams play this one hard, but not the steelers. This was the first we've seen all the offensive starters together and they couldn;t care less tomight against a **** Colts defense.

Then you have the defense that has barely played together this preseason. It takes time to come together. With as little as the starters have played, i hope they play a whole half in game 4.

If the starters only play a few drives in game 4 as usual, I'm a bit concerned. Are they just looking past Cleveland week 1 and assuming they will use that game to get in shape?

Can someone please tell me on a first and goal you have three chances to run the ball in or get the three points on a field goal why. Would you pass on a first and goal it's mistakes like that from the coaches that cost you the game

If they fumble going in its the same result... the bigger question was why do you not go for it on fourth down... if you don't convert it gives them the ball in fg position, but a td still ties it if they make it, and of course the same time comes off the clock in both situations assuming you hold them in both cases.... but you get a kickoff instead of a punt to set up with, and if you do convert its with ample time to score

Watt was OK. Sutter played well, and has a good break on his reads and pass break ups.

Corners played tighter but still need help tackling.

Cockerel has gotten worse. Golden isn't any better.

Terrell Watson looks like a downhill bulldozer.

I don't think this is how the coaching staff saw this game going. 1s were sloppy and ineffective. Some decent pass and catch. K Davis is worthless.
Defense is a sieve that doesn't exercise the most basic of tackling fundamentals.

Hot mess

Just a preseason game.

Not concerned at all. Glad nobody got jacked up too bad. One more practice game to go. Thank god.

Perhaps Pete Carroll can answer that question for ya! :P

Revis should burn a flag on Youtube. Then he won't be out of work because of talent, it will be because he's being blackballed and ESPN won't rest until somebody gives him a job.

I saw the same **** different pile tonight. The front seven is more than good enough. If you had a secondary behind they should have had 4 sacks and 3 picks. And the redzone play/playcalling is ****** brutal. And guess what Todd. In a meaningless game dont try to throw a bubble screen to your xfactor receiver on third and long. Throw him a deep throw jump ball. You almost got him killed. Im sorry I got no faith in Todd. He sucks. I dont give a ****. Hes no good. Badly overthinks things in some spots and is so predictable in others. Brutal.

watching the reply now on NFL network..

Obviously the Colts playing with much more passion and purpose.....for some reason?

Landry Jones representing himself well....
