Shocking, but it appears Golson is hurt again

Honestly if its a tweek and he is going to miss a couple days fine. Anything over a week and I cut him now just cause I couldnt even look at him.

Not lookin' good. I really had my heart set on seein' him light it up this camp and solve all our depth problems. I guess he's not a complete write-off yet but with a FA and a draft pick added this year, he ain't got time for no bench sittin'....no way. . It's make it break it time and he just took a big step into the "break-it" box.

I have heard of "busts" but this **** is in another realm. What else can you say??

Any ACTUAL word on the severity of his injury?????

Salute the nation

Him and Conner got sent for MRIs. Pretty much unbelievable. Hopefully Conners ok. Ive had enough of Golson.

He had an MRI on his hamstring. I would think that means he misses more time than he can afford. Buh-bye Golson. Wish we would have gotten to know you.

Both Connors and Golson injuries are believed to be not serious

I think it's time for Golson to get on with his life's work.

Just read Conner was in a sling last night. That can't be good.

Golson finds himself in the midst of a battle for a roster spot with rookies Cameron Sutton and Brian Allen, William Gay and free agent acquisition Coty Sensabaugh, and he won’t be able to win any training camp battles from the sideline.

With Golson likely to miss Monday’s practice, and Tuesday a scheduled day off for the Steelers, the sooner Golson can get on the field, the better. To compound matters, Golson has been impressing fans and coaches during his short time period on the field. He was responsible for very solid play, including several pass break ups in passing situations.

The #Steelers saw CB Senquez Golson get carted off -- again. But it's not like the last 2 years. His hamstring injury isn't major, I'm told.

Whatever.

Clean out his locker for him. If he does it he'll blow out an elbow and they'll have to pay him an injury settlement. The dude is ridiculous. He could have gotten the better part of an undergraduate degree while being paid by the Steelers to sit on the sideline and nurse injuries. I rail about players that have actually PRODUCED and then missed significant time while injured. This guy? Are you ******' kidding me?

Sometimes things just don't pan out, either from just dumb luck...

...or they just didn't have it in them to begin with.

I will never understand why people get so mad about injuries. Its unfortunate more then anything

It's not that I'm mad.

It's simply asset management. He's not an asset. He's a liability. And not a little liability. A huge liability. He's completely without value. I mean that sounds mean, but the kid isn't even useful on the practice team. Rudy is more useful than Senquez Golsen. I hate to be that guy, but you know... there it is. Tell you what - YOU pay his salary. How long you suppose you'd keep him on?

I don't know. He has talent. Camp just started. Let him get healthy and see if he can play. If by first cuts he hasn't done anything you can cut him then....but the value just might be there....or he wouldn't be on the roster.

Yea, you guys need to pump the breaks on these camp injuries. None have been serious thus far and we're still over a week to our first preseason game. We can start worrying about guys missing time, and not contributing if they can't play in the preseason games. The sky is far from falling.

Let him get healthy and see if he can play.

You're kidding, right?

I mean, sure. He can stay up until the 1st cut date. Whatever but let's not kid ourselves that this guy can survive ONE game. Seriously.

And the funny part of it is he hasnt gotten injured thru physical contact in the NFL. So you cant say the sport is too physical for him. Kid just has had some bad luck. Secondly lets be honest he isnt making alot of money. So cutting him for that reason alone doesnt make sense. Hopefully reports are true and his hamstring isnt serious. Reports he is playing well. If he doesnt make it its nothing to be mad about. More sad he has worked all his life to get the opportunity. Sucks

I agree I feel sorry for the kid. No one is more dissapointed and affected then him. However, lets say he is on the bubble. How can you keep him? He would have to be so overwhelmingly better than the next guy. He cant even survive practice. How can he possibly get through full games.
