In 2016, The Ravens finished 8-8. To start 2017 they are full of injuries and out of deer antler spray.

In 2016, the Bengals were 6-9-1. Andy Dalton is still their quarterback, and Lewis the coach.

No need to even comment on Cleveland.

This division is ours to lose. When was the last time the AFC North was this weak?

rats D should be better this year. And I thought the bungles did well in the draft, talent wise.

It won't be easy pickens chatter.

Typically the AFC North has been a powerhouse type devision. The battles were amazing and then this less then stellar showed up. Since Cleveland has been let back into the league they have contributed NOTHING. Cincinati seems to find a way to lose, it probably because of all the questionable loser type players they have. The gayvens have been the most competitive since antler powder isn't banned and murder as accomplice is leagal.

Now you take the STEELERS as they have been the HEART of stregnth in the AFCN AND THAT IS UNDISPUTABLE. Is it the STEELERS problem the rest can't keep up??? Hell no but one thing for sure is we have the luxury of Ben Rothlesbergher, Franchise extrordinare. I truely hope FO is taking heed on this retirement talk. I truely hope we can find a QB good enough to take advantage of this loaded roster and if not in free agency then in draft.

As for when was the last time this devision is so week................ I say you have to play the games before you can determine how weak / strong a division is. Cleveland will be better than you think and I think the other two will rise just enough to be crushed by the GREATERST Franchise the world has ever known, the PITTSBURGH STEELERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The main thing this Steeler team needs is focus. A lot of rumble and only third day od practice. Will Tomlin keep the focus needed to win the games we should win and win the close games and put teams away when they have them. The Bungles are not a push over, the Ravens will still have a defense and a coach that seems to out coach Tomlin. Ben's talk is this for real or waken up team we need to come into camp making ourselves better.

I certainly wouldn't be counting my chickens yet. Sure, the Rats and the Bungles under-performed last year due to injuries and other issues. But, to think our division sucks and we are going to have a cake walk this year is beyond naive.

I sort of disagree with this in a sense that the division won't necessarily be weak, but the Steelers should simply just be better than the other teams. I expect them to sweep the division and anything more than one division loss (on the road) this year would be a massive disappointment.

Not every division can be as consistantly weak as the cheater's division. Once in awhile we get an easy year but we have to go out and win to make it an easy year.

and the ratbirds drafted the defensive rookie of the year in round 2.......

We could always get hit with injuries too. I mean, Golson is already out hurt. Shocking. ****, what are we gonna do now?

I have said it before and it bears repeating....an ENORMOUS factor in the Cheaters success has been how awful their division has been year after year. Those pricks have pretty much 6 wins they can pencil in before they play a damn game. Meanwhile, there have been years during the Ben era in Pittsburgh when 3 of the 4 teams in the division got in to the playoffs. It has been a damn bloodbath in the Steelers division and that is not changing this year either. If you think the Steelers will walk through this division you are nuts. I can easily see the Steelers going 4-2 in the division (or worse)....until last year, the Steelers almost always seem to split with the Ravens and Bungholes, and as someone mentioned in an earlier post, don't think that opener in Cleveland will be a cake walk either. The Browns, especially on defense are an improved football team. I honestly believe that the Steelers would have at least two more Lombardi's if they had a weak division like the Cheats. It's ridiculous.

Its hard to say what the season will bring before the opening game. Our division never seems to stay at a low point.

I'd wager the Browns and Ravens are below .500. Cincy can finish anywhere from 6-10 to 9-7.

This is the weakest the AFC North has been in a while.

I'm not worried about how strong these other teams are. I'm worried that they will be targeting knees and ankles since they can't compete.

The Cheats are virtually guaranteed a first round bye every year even if Belicheat only won 10 games.

Ravens have the Steelers number badly. Even in what I would call overwhelming talent differences in favor of the Steelers it will be difficult to get the split. And you really have to ask the question why? Clearly in my mind the Steelers coaching staff really has trouble with Harbaugh and Belichek.

That would be because Harbaugh gameplans and Belichik cheats.

That's the part that keeps Tomlin from being a GREAT coach, it's the playing down to talent. Last year's match up against the gayvens is an example. There other examples along his career as well, Dolphins / (bad) Raiders / Houston / etc. etc.. I hope this year that TREND is reversed as we have multiple "easy" teams on our schedule and this is the year we win the super bowl !!!!!! )next year too(

Been ten years and seen no sign of that trend reversing.

Even when our division. is down, it is still usually tougher than the ******* CHEATRIOTS division. When was the last time that division put two in the play offs??? THREE??????

Steelers, Bengals and Ravens oh my!

The North is not easy pickin'. Sometimes the Browns have an ok year by their standards.
