Big Al signed

Great news! Great deal! Wish they would have signed Tuitt first, though. Hopefully, he is coming in the next day or two.

Tuitt's deal should be for about the same amount of money.

What numbers were you thinking? $4-$5M range? It's not out of the realm. Contracts are increasing though...
Cam got 6 years 60 million. Tuitt is gonna get paid. He's a young stud DL.

I love Villy but he's an average or slightly better then average 28 years old. They signed him for a huge bargin. They signed Max Starks to a 4 year 26 million dollar deal 9 years ago.

I think Tuitt is great, but I don't think he'll get as much as Cam. 8M is the most I could see him earning per season. $6M would be perfect IMHO...

I think he will get 8. I'd be shocked if he signs for anything less then that. 3-4 DLs are super valuable

Anyone else want to play before I list the players?

Which offensive weapon do you want to pay the most money? (Total yards and touchdowns represent offense only, no special teams)

A 2,118 total yards, 20 touchdowns
B 1,994 total yards, 16 touchdowns
C 1,884 total yards, 9 touchdowns
D 1,623 total yards, 14 touchdowns
E 1,448 total yards, 6 touchdowns
F 1,409 total yards, 6 touchdowns
G 1,293 total yards, 12 touchdowns

I pray that Big Al schools Myles Garrett on opening week.

You all are the experts, please assure me that's the way it will go down!

Al didnt get paid huge because he had no leverage. He was basically rellying upon the Steelers good will because he is a Starter. So they hit something long term that could be a real bargain down the road and is more than fair for him.

Good. Mrs. Burgundy's new Villenueva jersey is safe.

or maybe Bell learns something from Villanueva and see that his deal was fair for all parts too and only that way you can build a SB roster

Not a chance. I firmly believe that Bell is too small-minded and short-sighted to give a crap about having a SB ring. Like a lot of guys, his idea of winning is getting big money. And when he's 45 and retired and looking back at what might have been....he still won't give a crap.

I think it's a very good deal.

It actually slots him a little behind Gilbert (because Gilbert signed his 5-year, $30 million deal a couple seasons ago) but ahead of Foster.

The whole offensive line is now signed for the next two seasons, with only Foster not signed in 2019. If they can stay healthy, the consistency alone should really make us one the top-10 lines in NFL for the remainder of Roethlisberger's career. It also allows for draft resources and free agency to fill in other spots.

I know the team is very conservative but these next two seasons, we really need to strike while the iron is hot. It's all set up for a run if we get some luck and don't shoot ourselves in the foot.
