Ahead of the start of the new league year the Pittsburgh Steelers placed a right of first refusal restricted tender on tackle Chris Hubbard and with a few weeks remaining before the deadline for him to sign an offer sheet from another team he has now been re-signed, according to the official NFL transaction report.
Hubbard, a former undrafted free agent out of Alabama-Birmingham, is now scheduled to earn $1.797 million as a result of him signing his one-year tender.
