Richard Sherman

Wait everyone bitched and complained when anyone brought up Bouye, didn't want to pay him, blah, blah, blah. He signed for just over 13 per on avg, 10 million signing bonus and 26 guaranteed, and he's 25 and gave up a league low of only allowing 54% of passes to be completed.
We are now talking about trading a high pick for a guy that is 29, and is due 22 million guaranteed over the next two seasons???

if we are bringing him is with a ref clause that confirms he can keep doing in B & G all the **** he did to AB without getting flagged

I hate the fact that the Pats are smarter than us.
Yep whipped our ***, and then went out and improved, and added to a position that really wasn't a need for them, but is in this era of the NFL

I don't think Sherman will be worth a **** without a pass rush

AJ Bouye has 6 career ints, he's not worth elite money on a 5 years contract

A 4 time probowler on a big contract (but smaller than bouye) for just two years? Probably the same years we have Ben left, by the way.

I'm not saying that we should force the issue and get Sherman by any means, what I'm saying is that Bouye is overrated and won't be worth his contract. You can bet on it

6 ints is how many Sherman has over the past two seasons, and I'm not worried about ints, Ike never had alot, but alot considered him to be damn good. The fact qb's had the worst comp% when throwing at him compared to any other CB's is all I care about.
I'm not against Sherman at all, I'd love to have him here, no doubt, but it's still a higher draft pick and 22 million for him, and he didn't look all world last year either.
Yeah Bouye may not be worth that, he went to freaking Jacksonville, but I'd given him that contract, saved the pick, and upgraded over Cockrell and have a young pair of CBs for years

I don't think he would follow through. Why was he taking this stance?

in reference to their cheating?

Because they won it all and are making so many moves?

Other reason ?

How the hell do the Pats**** find the cap room to sign all these guys? I still think Kraft sends a briefcase full of cash to Br*dy's house every week.

Because they severely pay their starting QB under the market value for a franchise HOF QB while funneling money through his nutrition company that is on site at the Gillette complex. Seriously this guy is carrying a 14M cap hit for **** sake, and no one looks into this from the league?

they get rid of a lot of players too, and bring others in.

I will say it over and over again.

This team is cheating in more ways than one.

In every way imaginable.

In fact I think it would be harder to state the ways they weren't cheating..........

I'd say about a zero% chance of the Steelers signing him. It's a nice dream. Like smacking guys around at the line and ******* up timing routes of the death by papercut juggernauts.

I'm sure it was just a comment of frustration, not to be taken that seriously. Frustration at the fact that the Pats continuously win on the field and continue to win in free agency. The rich get richer....I feel his pain.

They just take advantage of all the systems loop holes and exploit them. I ******* hate them, but you have to admire their ability to get over on the NFL.

YOU got that right, Remeber when "the rog" and kr*ft were friends........... ******* anything was allowable for the cheating ******* BUT not for other teams. Rules were changed for their favor and to dis-favore the STEELERS. To many things to JUST be coincident.!!!!!!

I've been on this wagon since 2001. It is what it is. Just entertainment. Not a legitimate sport. Overhyped created dramatic situations every year. Particularly the super bowl. What a joke.

IMO, I think it's because these teams continue to deal WITH the Patriots and continue to get screwed over in the process. Lets look at the Brandin Cooks deal. The Saints get the Patriots first and third round picks, the Patriots get Cooks and a 4th round pick. With that phrasing it looks decent right? But then you remember that the Patriots won the Super Bowl, so the Saints get the 32nd pick, and that third rounder they got as well, is only 15 picks away from the 4th they sent back...

It's a ****** trade for the Saints.

Somehow they continue to get teams to deal with them and take the short end of the stick.

He wont be worth a **** the minute the refs start throwing flags for him hanging on to a receiver every other play....

Cant stand that guy and never want to see him in a Steeler's uniform.

The Patriots won their first 3 super bowls with their CBs playing like that.
