coolie's don't grow on trees....posters with my brilliant sense of humor are few and far between
This reminds me of the typical chick who only wanted to date the cool guy when she was young and hot, then as she aged realized he's not soo cool in the adult world, and now wants to be with the successful guys that weren't cool enough when she was in her prime. **** That and **** Revis.
Where the hell are u from anyway?
I feel like I owe u a beer

If we have to pay him 6+ Million I am totally out. If we could pay him 1 and have the jets kick in 5 I was all in. Terrance Newman is still available and so is Mo Clairborne. Lets bring them in kick the tires and see what they want as both were rated higher last year than Revis and I feel either will come in for 2-4 million on a one year deal.
If he wants to be a Steeler then sign the ******* wanker. It's not gonna hurt giving Revis a chance. He can pan out as a safety

Revis was never used properly
Jets released him. They are taking the cap hit. Unless I'm mistaken he can sign anywhere for any amount.
He's still better than anyone we have - it's a no-brainer to me, bring him in and kick the tires
At a time when the Steelers have swung-and-missed on all but one free agent they’ve brought into their practice facility, it wouldn’t, or shouldn’t, shock anyone the team might pick up the phone and see just what Revis has left in the tank.
There would certainly be doubters if the Steelers decide to bring in Revis, but if he gives the team a cap-friendly deal, it could be a very low cost addition to the team. I, for one, would be okay with them bringing him in to get a look. After all, it wouldn’t hurt anything, but as the Steelers work — it’s all about the money.

Posted above was one of two scenarios. Jets either pay him 6 million for 2017 unless he signs elsewhere which then they are off the hook. Or he signs elsewhere and that contract offsets the difference of the 6 million. i.e. 1 million contract = 5 million Jets pay.
If he has to get 6+ million I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole. If it's offsetting I am all for signing him to the min and letting the Jets foot the bill.
What would it hurt to bring him in and see if he can run and what kind of shape he's in?
