Free agent CB K'Waun Williams is visiting the Lions on Monday.

Williams missed all of last season after needing bone spurs removed from his ankle. The Browns cut him and disagreed with his claim that he needed the surgery. Williams covered the slot for the Browns in 2015 and showed well there. He's also scheduled to visit the Jets sometime this week.

Sure, need to replace Gay, the let Gilbert go, and need someone other than the unproven and forgotten about Golson to play slot. With the development of Burns and Cockrell, they'll need someone for sure who's walked the walk.

We can try but if the coaches won't let them m play man when we need to, it really doesn't matter who we bring in

Can't count on Golson. Would be a nice depth signing at the min. Ideally I would like us to find a cb to start opposite Burns. Cockrell is average and slow.

I hope we bring something better to compete than a 5'9" kid that went undrafted and the browns waved, and that also is coming from a season ending injury

He is actually quite good as a slot guy. Litos, do some reading on him.

as thin as we are at CB I would hope they give a few guys a look, 2 free agents and a draftee.

if we can get him for a reasonable price sure why not....

If they bring in a FA CB let it be one who wasn't out of football for a year. I prefer less question marks when attacking a position that two years in a row the CBs they brought in rode the bench.

Make a "splash" play for a legitamit FA cornerback. One thas will make an imeadiately impact, such as starting material. Tic tock....tic tock

Salute the nation

I'd trade green for a decent slot cb in a heartbeat. Wrong thread , sort of

This dude would be super cheap and great Golson insurance. I still would be all in on a guy like Gilmore in FA, but we know it won't happen. Not a huge Cockrell guy.
