How many NFL championships do the packers have, 5 iirc? Was it statistically impossible for Lombardi therefore he cheated?

A great coach can do that for you. There is a reason Belichick is considered GOAT by many.
 
They're not a dynasty because they didn't win a SB from 04 to 2014. . If they win again next year this team will become a dynasty. But the 01, 03, 04 isn't connected to this team. Sure, it's Brady and BB but that's it.

I guess they weren't cheating when down 28-3 but then started cheating. Greatest QB of all time and smartest coach of all time. Have to give them their due.

You did not watch the same game I saw....the guy came back and took it to em.....He torched em for 466.......A game is 4 Quarters, & in this case 4 1/4......No more debate......GOAT......Period!!!!!
 
Atlanta gave the game away, period. When they were at the NE 25 yard line in the fourth, up big, all they had to do was run three times, kick a FG, game over. WHY THE **** WERE THEY THROWING THE BALL???? Ryan gets sacked, knocked out of FG range, and all the momentum goes to NE. Then they do the SAME ******* think the next drive. Full on retard!!!!
 
This is the only place on the planet that actually attempts to debate that Brady is not the greatest of all time.

There should never be discussions linking steroids to cheating though. Steroids were not illegal.

You see that's the thing. NO ONE wants to hold them accountable. CHEATING is cheating and they should not be praised for it. I've heard the "get over it" so many timers. THEY STILL CHEATED. If you only cheat 1 play or two plays or 3, you"re still a cheater.

It doesn't matter. History books will NOT highlight the scandals. All that will matter is 5 rings to Brady and Belichick. No amount of bellyaching is going to change that. Accept it and move on, you'll be better off that way.

Steroids were not ILLEGAL, doing what NE did was and that why they were punished so harshly, and why the evidence was just destroyed because it was that bad. Hell deflate gate they came out with the PSI of all the balls used, yet hardly a word about what they found during spygate

Illegal or not, some paint it as an unfair advantage and I've had many heated discussions about it defending them. I'm not excluding NE's shady practices, but the history books have been written.

Exactly, but the Falcons D couldn't stop the Pats momentum afterwards either.

The Falcons gambled and lost. They were hoping for one completion and the Pats knew that and stuffed it. The Falcons lack of a power running game was exposed at that monent.

If i'm a moron then i'm guessing you're a stats guy.

It's hard to compare eras because of the rule changes and the introduction of free agency. In my mind Montana is the GOAT because I have never seen another COMPLETE qb.

Montana was just that:

Great deep ball--check
Master of the short game--check
Cannon for an arm--check
Clutch in big games--check
Patient to almost a fault--check
Ability to read a D--check
Make plays on the run--check
Running ability--check

No one in my mind can match Joe Montana when you look solely at the ability of the man playing the position.

The qb gets too much credit at times and too much blame at others. I'm looking at accomplishment AND ability.

One more thing: It will be interesting if Brady retires before Belichick and their success continues at an equal pace. Then we will know for sure that it was the system much more than it was Brady.

We have already seen them win just as easily with backups at times.

good point, I'd like to see that, as well. Garoppolo is in high demand right now. Is it the system or QB? For their sake, I could see them retiring together in 2-3 years. Why stop now when there's not a team to stop them. Yet.

Any GM that signs Garoppolo for big money deserves to get the axe.

Hell- Even Landry could go 11-5 in that system.

True, but the Falcons D was on the field forever, a supposed defensive coach like their head coach is should've seen his D was tired, all the more reason to run clock. The D scored a td, and set up a short field on the fumble and held NE to 3 for almost 3 qtrs, I think they held up their end.
