Houston is dropping beyond the first down marker before Brown ever gets to him, Brown is at 20 when he finally clears Houston, a full five yards past the first down marker, he could've come back towards the first down marker in front of Houston if he wanted, but again the whole thing was a ******* hypothetical question.

If he breaks to go in front of Houston at best he's going to catch it at the 14. AB does the correct thing. He runs behind Houston allowing him to definitely catch the ball beyond the marker.
Looking at your still shots that looks right but, Houston is dropping and running toward the sideline in that picture, by the time Brown gets to him they are both pretty much at the 20. If AB starts running toward the marker he cuts underneath Houston and makes the catch in front of him. The way it happened worked out great.

IF AB intentionally ran a wrong route even once Ben would have lit him up. No way #7 let's anybody especially Brown off the hook for douchebaggery like that.

Whether it is true or not if you think Ben rules this locker room you are being niave While I think Ben tries to lead...some of our players think they are above such things. Until everyone gets on board with the team first concept they most likely won't win a thing. It is the reason why I think Ben didn't/won't commit for the next season.
I can agree with this strictly from the standpoint that if he had control of the locker room there would be no need for him to comment on accountability or the game being too big...etc.

Bingo, Ben went to Tomlin earlier this season and told him he thinks the team, especially the younger players need to start focusing more, we see how far that went. In AB's video after the KC game, Ben walks by and says " hey guys let's go, coach is here" something along those lines, and not one of the WR's that were there paid any attention.
