Why is Ayers inactive?

Well Coates has 4 dropped passes.....all right in his hands....Ben couldn't have thrown it any better. Steelers really need to take a good long look at Coates with Bryant coming back. I think Coates is expendable....and we need DB's & LB'ers......some team out there is dumb enuff to work out a trade for Coates.

I agree Coolie I really thought Ayers over the past few weeks showed us something to warrant him playing time. Coates hands might actually be worse than Heyward-Bey

Poor man's version of Bryant, just with broked hands I noticed he tried to basket catch everything.

Ayers made a couple of tough catches in recent games, and he plays with a chip on his shoulder. We sure could've used those things in this game. It wouldn't have helped our defense, but it would've been nice to have kept it a little closer...
