Anyone know, Green is also so it wasn't to activate him

Guess they thought they needed Fitz more than Ayers..I don't get it but what do I know

Ayers was an awesome returner in college I thought

Ayers was an awesome returner in college I thought

he was as a Freshman, as a sophomore he was not quite as good and as a junior he was solely a punt returner, they had an excellent kick returner though....

kind of tough to put a rookie out to return kicks for the first time in the AFC Championship though...

I would have given Ayers a hat over Toussant or Hamilton...if Coates and DHB are ready to stretch the field from the outside...hamilton is redundant

I mean it was a rb over extra wr thing... you do want a third string rb in in case of double catastrophe

Strange for sure. Ayers has shown himself to be fearless as a receiver.

Hope it doesn't come back to bite them.

Can't think of any reason for this kid not to be playing today.

Sick maybe? They just said several players needing IVs before the game.....

I swear it always has to be something....

Good thing Ayers is out and Coates and Hamilton are in... nice call MT.

Yeah Ayers got open and caught passes during the winning streak. Cant remember Coates doing this. Not his fault. He has had broken fingers since way back when.

Well Coates has 4 dropped passes.....all right in his hands....Ben couldn't have thrown it any better. Steelers really need to take a good long look at Coates with Bryant coming back. I think Coates is expendable....and we need DB's & LB'ers......some team out there is dumb enuff to work out a trade for Coates.
