To the AFC championship game!

We held them to 27 in October with Gronk, and without Harrison, Dupree, Davis. Not sure if Burns started that game or not and not sure about our Dline

Burns' first start was against the Ravens, the game that followed the Patriots game (we had bye week after Pats). Our D-line was Tuitt and a mix of Hargrave, R. Matthews, LT Walton & McCullers. Cam Heyward was not on IR at that point but he was out with a hamstring injury. LT Walton is much improved since then, he gives us much more than Matthews in terms of run-stopping but little in terms of quick pass rush.

I agree, Walton may be the silver lining in the Heyward injury.

After 1st series when the offense marches downfield

I hope CMT has enough brass to pull his players off the field if this does occur. **** the CHEATRIOTS

Salute the nation

It's turned out to be a successful season regardless of what happens here on out.

I don't always agree with what Tombert does on a year-in, year-out basis but here we are. Not sure we're good enough to slay the dragon but even getting here is about what I (and many here) expected heading into a season we were favored in all but one game and never left the Eastern Time Zone. I'm glad they put it together because at the half-way point it was looking pretty ugly. That's why you can't judge the book by just one chapter. Every season is a novel and you have to wait and read the whole damn thing.

I'm proud of the team win or lose on Sunday. Lots of players took positive steps forward and I'm excited about the next couple of seasons and our potential to repeat at least this type of success.

Once you get into the final-4, it's kind of a crap shoot. We've been here as favorites and not made it. We've been here and underdogs and.... hmmm, not made it. Sorry, bad analogy.

Maybe we're due to be the Championship Game spoilers.

Every play counts. Hope our guys play their best.

If theres ever a year to do it, THIS is that time. You don't get opportunities like this often. Just ask 28 other teams and their fans.

We've been here with Tombert twice and won both times.

Also, I pretty sure we were underdogs to the Broncos in 2005...

You are correct... we were 3.5 point underdogs. I thought it had to happen at least once, but forgot about that game for some reason.

So my point is correct. Point spread doesn't mean more than just getting the opportunity at this point. Who knows what happens from here on out.

This game is about two things:

1) Bud Duree getting 2 sacks or hitting Brady 4 times.
2) Our young secondary and Shazier dealing with all the slants and crossing patterns.

Three things:

3) Scoring TD's instead of FG's

4 things...

Pushing enough feedback through the radio signal that the P*ts tech guy or Ernie Adams goes instantly deaf from listening to it and start bleeding from both shattered ear-drums. All while filmed on national television!

Presser with Belichick:

How much does home-field advantage help you?

Belichick: "I don't know. Go ask Dallas and Kansas City."

i don't care what anyone says, he might be a huge prick and basically the darth vader of this league, but i love belichick's press conferences. i love watching him **** all over the ******** "hot take'rs" trying to needle him in a corner with their nonsense.

exactly. you know those ******* have a whole book of rub plays they're cookin' up for our rookie secondary players.

As much as I hate the Cheating Bastiges From New England, I'm afraid you're right.
To which I would add:
1. The Pats**** almost never lose at home. Such that it's a statistical impossibility.
2. The Steelers almost never beat the Pats****.
3. As mentioned, we get Good Ben at home and Bad Ben on the road.
4. The Pats**** defense allows the least points per game in the NFL.

Upside:
1. Gronk is on IR.
2. They didn't look all that great last week.
3. We're due to win one and they're due to lose one. The ol' Hidden Vigorish.
4. Bell and AB.
5. Gronk is on IR.
