On one hand, he has the wayward son of the team he loves. A boy-child who defied him and arrogantly stood up to the Fuhrer in court! And yet, look how well Timmy has done.

On the other, a brooding, hateful giant of a man who's said publicly he wouldn't piss on the commish if he was on fire.

Timmy defied me in front of the entire country and I nearly got caught with Kraft squeeze cheese all over my face!

But -

I don't buy the Brady/Goodell beef for one second. Defensive players in this league were openly questioning their relationship in the press. They saw Deflategate as an opportunity to run some interference.

A handshake agreement was made. They play "enemy" for a season or two to get the scent off their trail, then back to business as usual.

I hope that these Steelers play with a fire in their bellies for the ones that came before them. The ones that were cheated of their destiny because of these scabs. The revenge would be sweet if they were to accomplish this feat. Rog, Kraft and all of the rest could feel the karma crush them to bits.

I can't imagine a better scenario unless it would be with a victory in Houston next month.
 
I have to admit, I'd like to see Ben get a smashing, resounding, no-questions-about it MVP award in the SB if such a thing could be granted.

I love me some James. I really do. He's got the All Time Sack Record though. That's a record that will stand for awhile and even if somebody DOES come along and beat it, James stands with Lloyd and Lambert as some of the most feared linebackers ever to play the game. And frankly, James is a special kinda animal. No disrespect intended to Jack. And Greg was a beast, no doubt about it. But honestly? Silverback? Harrison is a freaking God!
 
Granted 135 is just my warmup on bench press but putting that overhead repeatedly with one hand is out of the question.

Not mentioned enough is the renegotiation of Brady's contract last year when he SHOULD have been suspended. The new deal had him making something like 1.2m this year. So in pushing the suspension he lost like 400k instead of 4m.
