Alabama/Clemson Championship Game

Announcer: "Deshaun Watson, You've just won a National Championship. What are you doing next?"

Watson: "I'm going to ... **** ... I'm going to .... Cleveland (crying)"
 
Bama is a great program.........Saw them personally in multiple SEC Championship games. Great fans.

But that Headhunting on the first drive targeting Clemsons QB and top WR.......with 2 vicious head shots that sure as hell looked intentional to me was complete bush league bullshit and I believe was the reason Clemsons offense was out of rythm in the 1st half

But ESPN told me Bama was the greatest defense ever. Maybe that had something to do with playing ****** QBs all year. They let 2 white dudes score on them.

I think Clemson's coach played at Bama. About a week after Saban retires, Sweeney wil be a very rich man as Bama either hires him away for a ridiculous sum or Clemson is forced to match that ridiculous sum.

I wonder if Saban will pull the move where he acts like he may want to try the NFL again and he jacks Bama for more cash.

Just had a feeling watching Bama last game that Clemson would have the advantage in this game with Watson and the passing game.

Bama losing the RB really hurt in the second half..

Nice to see someone without numbers on their helmets win a National Championship for once.
 
Amazing 4th quarter, best ending since USC-Texas. Congrats to Clemson, and THANK YOU for getting it done so it's not another year with BAMA as champs, lol!

They're lucky they didn't run out of time, they let 20 seconds run off the clock. If the strategy was to make Bama think they were playing for a FG to catch them off guard, hats off to Sweeney, that was one helluva calculated risk.

yes, that RB injury was critical. Watson will be gone in the first round, Mike Wiliams showed he's back from injuries and will be a very coveted prospect.
Wouldn't mind either TE in mid rounds
 
Fell asleep at halftime and figured I'd wake up to see another Bama championship. What an awesome thing to wake up to -seeing the evil Saban and the Tide were dethroned!!! Congrats to Clemson- you EARNED this win!!!!
 
My wife's co-worker at their Cleveland office is tweeting that Browns fans want the team to draft the bulked ref in the first round.
 
I live about 20 minutes from the stadium. But honestly have never liked Clemson or pull for them. My sons high school soccer coach is Clemson's sideline audio guy he takes care of there headsets. So I'm happy for him. Dabo is a real class act. I have met him personally on 3 different occasions at High School sports games (basketball,soccer) we have sons the same age and in the same conference. Very nice guy always takes pictures and greets Clemson fans from visiting schools. He is a hard guy not to pull for. Very outspoken Christian that stands up for what he believes in.

That's what I did. I crashed and woke up this morning going damn. From statistics alone you can see the lack of passing from Alabama was their biggest liability. I still thought they'd win. I hope they expand these playoffs past this 4 team nonsense.
 
They will probably be showing replays of it for a couple days if you missed the 4th quarter when all the fireworks started.

Don't know how any Clemson fans survived the last 5 minutes lol.

Unbelievable ending.

I would be happy with any of the three.
 
Whenever Renfro comes out I'd like to see him in black and gold. Classic overachiever. Will be a mid round steal for some team (probably the Patriots) and have a very nice 10 or 12 year career.
