Shazier-Week 17

I'm really liking all the offensive talent that will sit this week. What a luxury! One key guy that I feel must sit is Shazier. Do you think he will just dress and play a quarter? Make no mistake-2 different defenses with and without him.
 
Shazy wont play.
 
I'd give this game reps like a preseason game for most of the starters. The depth of this team can get some much needed playing time. You never know when a guy has to come in.
 
I want ALL STARTERS to play some, go hard and then sit. Including Shazier. I know I'm not in the consensus here but that's how I see it.

I can see the value in having the varsity squad go out there and run around at game speed for a while to prevent rust from a bye week.. But Shazier is a special case. Sit em

Coach Cool Shades said Ben, Bell, Brown and Pouncy will sit. They declared Tuitt, Green and Golden out with injuries. So there is your 7 inactives right there.

Possibly, but due to "rust" he gets hurt first play of play off game. I know where your coming from but a series or two would be all I'm after.

PS If they sit it wouldn't be a bad thing either. Just don't want it feeling like it's their first game back.

Pretty sure he was rotated with Vince Williams and on a snap count.

Hopefully that was just a case of knowing there's nothing to gain and lacked some urgency because the starters didn't look good

Strongly feel they knew that game was meaningless, so their performance reflected that.

I would not have played Shazier or Timmons, would've limited all our dB's as much as I could
