Big Ben, Le'Veon likely to rest versus Browns

I wouldn't let AB play. Sorry no way. Lots of guys can suit up but as few starters in the game as possible. Plus start preparing the attack plan for the likely opponent which is Miami.

game plan... no strip clubs the night before. stop the run, win

You know the Browns would love to knock any of our starters out with injury

As much as I'd prefer to see our starters rest/avoid potential injury, Ben (specifically) has shown some "rust" when he's held out of games....one of the reasons I'm not completely disappointed that we don't have a bye. I'd still like to see Ben come in for a few snaps, just to stay "game ready".

No more than a half for the starters. Just enough playing time to keep them sharp then pull them. And make it known any cheap shots will not be tollerated and might result in a browns player getting a broken neck.

I think you play who has gotten you to this point even if just a quarter or quarter n a half. I don't see the Browns as cheap shot artists. Did anyone notice the ratbirds game?? They played hard but I didn't see anything out of the ordinary as far as cheap shots go (face masks happen). The bungholes are definately cheap shot SOBs. So play the starters for a short period, then sit.

Salute the nation

Definitely wouldn't risk Shazier... give Vince the start. Vince has more than earned the opportunity for all he's done the last few years in spot duty, extended playing time and not to mention special teams play.

Also Finney and Hubbard should get extended play for anyone hurting on the OLine.

Cleveland has that #1 pick in their lap....they don't wanna lose that pick ....beating us in a meaningless game for us doesn't serve them well at all....they need that pick to use or shop it.

We will see many starters playing I think a portion of the game ...but by the 3rd we see names like Walton, Finney, Dangerfield, Golden, Ayers, Hamilton.

I'd like to see the starters play a couple series just to keep them ready.. but if they rest, it's understandable. It'll actually be kind of fun to watch our backups play Brown's starters.. I like our chances.
