Projected Inactive List Week 16

This is not turned out to be a healthy week for the Steelers. The only good news is Williams will definitely be back. Here is my projected inactive list. Feel free to do your own.

1. Shamarko Thomas ruled out
2. Sammie coats doubtful
3. Ladarius Green
4. Heyward Bey limited all week so I do not think he will play
5. Tuitt. He did not practice all week and even though he is listed as questionable I doubt he will play
6. Zack Mettenberger. 3rd QB inactive
7. Daryl Richardson

I project Chickillo and Mathews to play. If Mathews can not go I expect Daryl Richardson to be cut and replaced on the inactive list by Brian mihalik

Steelers are going to need to score early and often. Tuitt not playing and the state of the DL is going to be a real concern.
 
No Tuitt on D and no Green, Coates and DHB on O could spell trouble. The O will need DWill to be active and able to contribute significantly.

It would be nice to see Bell and Williams on the field together quite a bit tomorrow. Fat chance I know, but one can dream.

Actually...I think you will...but not in the back field at the same time...

IMO-Bell will see a lot of action lined up as a wide out tomorrow.
 
I didn't here that Bey wouldn't play, hmmmm..

Those three B's need to ring their A game.

As he should. But mix those packages up. Be unpredictable.

Two RB package, with Bell at WR
A FB sprinkled in.


This is the game to open the playbook and mix up highly successful practice plays...

If he is called up why not, not like they have game planned for him....

Give him a few looks and see if he responds...
 
If DWill is healthy, I can definitely see he and Bell in at the same time. Bell will probably start in the back field and then move outside. Without a good target at TE, this will help create some match up issues. We will definitely need to pass well tomorrow. That should be our strength and the Rats weakness.
 
126 yards, 1 TD, 1 fumble lost, Ayers 1st game.

If they make Bell a WR then that unpredictability is slightened a lot. Bell needs to come out of the back field some of the time too. D'will needs a power game for us. Quick hole shots and extend as much as he can. We can beat these ratturds and I'm betting the coaching staff has a fair game plan.

Bell needs to come out of the backfield 80%+ of the time. No way do you put him as WR. That is too easy for a team to defend. Start him in the backfield and then move him around some.

How so ? Who's been able to defend him in the past ? Dallas was as athletic a defense we have seen and he lined up at WR a caught a TD.

I truly hope you get your Ayers/Christmas present today.

It would be just awesome to see a good kid do great and elevate himself and the team with the season on the line!
 
Strange week. Dropping Shamarko made Mihalik the Inactive.

Gilbert was a surprise, he must really be sick. I hope he's fine this week. I'd love to see him get a lot of action against his old team this week!
Jarvis was inactive, I was a week off predicting his first, but I expect him to be active this week. This will probably be his last game as a steeler player, and it will be good for his FA value if he can make some plays on Sunday. Thanks for your time JJ, you just don't fit into the future plans of the Steelers.
