Google Images - search inquiry, "Color gold."

Results include:

CC2310-Gold-Color.jpg

And a search of color charts yields this:

colors1_green_gold.jpg

See, the one on the right is deemed "Mason Gold" in honor of George Mason University.

Mason Gold ... not "Mason Yellow."

Just like "Lakers Gold," and "Packers Gold."

Oh, and this site compares yellow and gold, and defines the following as gold - not yellow, but gold:

So let me get this straight: Which color is the Steelers closer to? The mustard or the actual gold? I will await your response.

The Steelers' colors are black and yellow, not black and gold.

There is no logical argument otherwise. You have to suspend logic and reality to not grasp this.

the color of actual gold is not the only color that is called gold...much like there are 8000 variations of white...

you have to be a ******* idiot to argue otherwise.....

thought you were only showing back up here to invite the masses to follow you to some new board.....

The Steelers gold color is a shade of gold. Hence the term black & gold. Actual gold and Saints color is metallic gold. The Pens jersey colors of yesteryear were vegas gold. There are different shades. Yellow is a lighter shade of gold. This topic went down the *******

Of course, you have to go to some convoluted definition to try to sell your error. Let's see, I wonder if the color "gold" should resemble the color of actual gold? Leave it to your type to try to make such an argument. The color "gold" is the same color of real "gold." It's not anymore complicated than that.

pop is a troll he is a big ole troll and an idiotic one......

Once again, referring to colors as denoted and described (in some detail) on a paint web site, let us compare the visual for the color "gold" with the Steelers uniform color:

Gold_429936_i0.png

This is "gold" - not yellow, or yellow hue, but GOLD.

Compare the color gold as defined by a goddamn company that sells paint - i.e., colors - with the Steelers uniform:

So in final reply to your insistence that the Steelers uniform is yellow, not gold, despite the litany of evidence to the contrary, I can only say ...

So gold can mean one and only one color, i.e., the color matching the element? Huh, funny how companies THAT SELL ******* PRODUCT BY COLOR define the color gold differently.

But hey, I guess you are the be-all and end-all for colors. Those dumbfuck paint companies should just have customers call you.

You sure are slow.

Also, here is the mustard seed:

So according to the "POOP principle," i.e., things must match the color of the element, "mustard yellow" does not exist.

More personal attacks. That means, if this place had a modicum of integrity, you should be banned. Let's see if they don't still deal in double standards.

Hey, can't take it, don't dish it out.

But if you want to follow through with that "ban him because he was so mean to me" request, I hear Coolie is the guy to see.

Hmmm. I thought you signed up to another board....and were going to recruit a few from here to go with you?

So where does White Gold fit into this? I mean fine jewelers make good money selling it.

Pop, there is a difference in your usage of photo examples. The Gold bar is an element. Gold "colors" are hues. Same with others like Silver, Copper, and oh yeah, Bronze. All elements, but with varying hues. Read a book about it you might learn more.
