I don't think Kicker is an easy position to fill anymore, not with the new extra point distance. Finding stability at kicker is a process.

The quality of kickers has improved greatly over the years in terms of accuracy and distance. This is the reason why the NFL changed the kickoff rule and moved extra points back.

These days the majority of kickers are better than 80% on the field goals. There are a few good out of work veterans to sign.

I think it is one of the easiest positions to fill in pro football, and a cheap one at that.
