We'd make the playoffs 10 years in a row.

And we'd still lose to the Cheating Bastiges every time too. I get you though, they benefit from being in a weak division.

We'd be 5-1 in this division meaning all you have to do is go .500 in the other games to be 10-6.

I thought Pitt has terrible players, they draft poorly, have an awful head coach and Team President? How could they be that successful?

Given the history of Ironcitysteelers post on females. I'd go with **** Burns

perhaps

but in the porn industry. (had a ex in Vegas run a escort service) they get to liking that green a little too much. Then as they get older and get cast less, they have to find a way to still bring in the doughnuts.

Not uncommon for male porn stars doing male on male porn for extra cash.

not that he would have went that route, but knowing the industry it would have caused me pause even if standing up.... my dick touched the ground...............

Division games are different. Look at some of the division games we lost in the last few years. Just because we beat the AFC east this year doesnt mean we would win if those teams were in our division and we had to play them over and over. Jets / Bills / Miami generally play the Pats tougher than the majority of other teams. The Pats would be at the top of most divisions anyways just like the steelers would be near the top most years. Good teams are good teams regardless of the division.

Because the Bills, Jets, and Dolphins are worse.

IDK, Bellicheck couldn't win a division when he was coaching in our division. I think he'd still have a tougher time facing teams that are at least good from year to year.

These divisions, outside of Indi and NE are dogshit, and these teams have feasted on the weak:

Playoff Appearances since 2000 in the AFC East: Buf 0, Mia 3 (1 since 2002), NYJ 6

Playoff Appearances since 2000 in the AFC South: HOU 3 (including winning last season by default), Jax 2, Ten 5

Of those playoff appearances, the only teams with playoff wins are: Ten 2, NYJ 6, Mia 1 (in 2000), Hou 2, Jax 1 (Against us).

That's it for those divisions. Aside from Rex Ryan's first 2 years in NY, and TEN up to 2003, these teams haven't even been competitive. They are dogshit never rans with the only common link is none of these teams ever had a franchise QB. The closest was McNair in Ten (who was a franchise QB, but left in 2004).

By comparison (not including the Steelers).

Playoff Appearances since 2000 in the AFC: Cle 1, Cin 7, Bal 10
Of those playoff appearances, the only teams with playoff wins are: Bal with 15 and 2 SBs

Steelers also made 10 playoffs and won 13 games with 2 SB wins and 3 SB appearances.

When was the last time the NY Jets, Buffalo or Miami was 10-6 or better?

These teams are bad to mediocre, year after year. In the North, the Baltimore and Cincinnati have been pretty at times.

2010 was the last time a non NE team had 10 wins, and we beat the Jets that year, to get to that lowB repuS. Oh crap, i forgot the Jets were 10-6 last season, beating Buffalo to put us in the playoffs!

At least the North always has a counterpoint. 2 teams regularly represent the AFC in the playoffs from the North, with a season having 3 teams. This year may or may only have 1, but there is still a chance for 2 to get in this season.

Here's a look at the AFCN representation in the playoffs:
2015 Cin Pit
2014 Pit Cin Bal
2013 Cin
2012 Bal Cin
2011 Bal Pit
2010 Pit Bal
2009 Cin Bal
2008 Pit Bal
2007 Pit only (Cle missed the playoffs with a 10-7 record)
2006 Bal
2005 Cin Pit
2004 Pit
2003 Bal
2002 Pit Cle

It's a nice counterpoint to AFCE and AFCS only being represented by 1 team for most of those years.
