Something that kind of bothers me...

How much would it have cost us to keep him on the roster but keep him on the bench? Did we really save any money or a roster spot but cutting him?

That question is beyond me as I'm no salary cap expert. A trade should have been a must or some kind of value. WORST case a inactive the rest of the season thus retaining a trade value. Anything is better than nothing and if it was nothing to be had, then set the toking ******** down as inactive. Don't give him a chance to play anywhere else till season / contract over.

PS WTF?? Didn't we get like a sixth round pick out of stoneio when we let him go???? Something is better than nothing.

It was late in the year, after the trade deadline if I'm not mistaken. Also, don't forget that this was his second strike, as far as we know.

I'm over Blount, the guy that still bothers me is Emmanuel Sanders. No consistency with his hands or effort in Pittsburgh and instantly became all world after he left.

negative, and he only received a ONE GAME suspension.

Here's the part of THAT whole situation that REALLY gets me. It's not like he wasn't producing, or even getting touches. He was consistently involved, and was giving Bell plenty of rest up until the Jets game. He had 5 carries for 0 yards, and then didn't touch the ball against Tenn, which is when he walked out. There had to have been something going on behind the scenes for the sudden drop in usage. He was on par with what he was getting his previous year in NE and more than his last year in TB.

So I'm not convinced that it was JUST because he walked out, there had to have been more to it than that.

There was something funny about it. We should never have dumped him mid season. He should have been inactive the next game after the game he walked out on. If he didn't come around, he could have been inactive and used as a security measure if Bell got hurt, which he did. It was a bad personnel move to dump your top backup RB going into the playoff stretch of the season.

Funny how under the Hoodie regime, no more problems with the guy, isn't it?

And you knoiw this how........??? Obviously he hasn't made front page headlines as to drug testing positive, YET. To the legnth of their shadyism it wouldn't surprise me as to the CHEATRIOTS finding a way to vett around that somehow. And don't give me any of this conspericy or "just let it go" crap, because the cheaters earned every ounce of criticism they get.

And James Harrison gets tested like he has been in the drug program with 2 strikes already against him. Would love to see how many "random" tests Blount has got.

All in voice from freedom rock commercial: Yea man, he needs to turn it up but Flowers was like holding him every play man.

Definitely feel Goodell has an initiative against James as he gets tested more than any NFL player who has never failed a test and every tackle in the league has been allowed free reign to hold him. Been like that ever since he started knocking people out and wouldn't back down from Goodell's pussification of the league.

I reference that freedom rock commercial every few month. The **** that stays in your memory. Who knew?!
